This paper examines the relationship of entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ESE) and entrepreneurial intention in the Turkish culture. Sub-dimensions of ESE were investigated and the level of entrepreneurial intention was discussed. The sample comprised of 245 undergraduate students of a university in Turkey. Results suggest that students have a high intention to be entrepreneurs. ESE has a strong effect on entrepreneurial intention, but sub-dimensions of ESE have different impacts. The results of the study were compared with a previously published study conducted in the USA and Korea by a group of researchers. In this comparison, the national cultural context was considered as an influential factor in entrepreneurship.
The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational commitment. To this end, a theoretical framework regarding transformational leadership and organizational commitment was created and then an application was performed on bank employees in Kars. The results revealed relations between transformational leadership and organizational commitment. Furthermore, results regarding awareness point out an awareness in continuance commitment, which is one of the sub-dimensions of organizational commitment, in terms of whether management task exists or not.
The purpose of this study was to determine the satisfaction level and the expectations of the conservative hotel customers during their stay. For this purpose, a survey was conducted for customers who prefer to stay in conservative hotel facilities. Ordinal logistic regression analysis was conducted using a statistical package program on the data obtained with the help of questionnaires. 430 customers who were staying in conservative hotels were asked to answer 41 questions in the survey. As a result of the research, demographic characteristics of conservative hotel customers were found to be statistically significant between the dependent variable and their status of education levels, occupation status, monthly income, nationality, duration of hotel stay, previous hotel stay, and the desire to stay again in the same hotel. This is a unique study to determine as to whether the characteristics of conservative hotel customers in hotel facilities differ according to the individual and socio-cultural characteristics of customers, since the customer expectancy changes according to the period and conditions of the time of operation and to compare the current situation with the expectations of the customers.
Akıllı telefonlar çeşitli fonksiyonlarından ve kullanım kolaylıklarından dolayı kullanım oranı ve sıklığı sürekli artış gösteren önemli teknolojik cihazlardan biridir. Nomofobi diğer bir deyişle akıllı telefondan uzak kalma korkusu sürekli gelişen teknoloji ile birlikte son zamanlarda ortaya çıkan bir rahatsızlıktır. Mevcut çalışmada, Ardahan Üniversitesi"nde 2017-2018 öğretim yılı güz döneminde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin (N=395) nomofobi düzeylerinin öznel iyi olma (mutluluk) ile ilişkisi; Oxford Mutluluk Ölçeği-Kısa Formu ile Nomofobi Ölçeği (NMP-Q) kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler, betimsel istatistikler, korelasyon analizi ve ANOVA ile test edilmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre, öğrencilerin nomofobi düzeylerinin ortalamanın biraz üzerinde, mutluluk düzeylerinin ise ortalamanın üzerinde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Nomofobi alt boyutu olarak en yüksek ortalama iletişime geçememe korkusu olarak tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin bağlantıyı kaybetme korkuları ile mutluluk düzeyleri arasında ise ters yönlü bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Nomofobinin en çok genç bireylerde görüldüğü, kadınların erkeklere göre daha fazla nomofobik oldukları tespit edilmiştir.
The concept of justice has an important role in the formatting of social life since the beginning of humanity. The perception of organizational justice perception, which is the reflection of the concept of justice in work life, has a positive correlation with many variables which increase organizational productivity. In this study, which aims to determine the relationship between the perception of organizational justice and organizational identification, the data obtained from 246 respondents, who work in accommodation facilities in the provinces of Van and Bitlis, have been used. Positive correlation has been found between organizational identification and organizational justice along with its sub-dimensions of distributive justice, procedural justice and interactive justice.
