El objetivo de esta investigación es identificar los tipos de gestión del capital de trabajo utilizados en el sector solidario y determinar la relación que tienen con el desempeño financiero en dicho sector en Colombia. Dentro de la categoría de Actividades financieras de fondos de empleados y otras formas asociativas del sector solidario, se seleccionó a su vez el sector cooperativo, en el que se aplicó un muestreo estratificado-propositivo, el cual arrojó una muestra de 3145 organizaciones distribuidas en seis subsectores (Ahorro y crédito, Multiactivas sin ahorro y crédito, Actividades diferentes a ahorro y crédito, Contribuciones y Créditos, Cooperativas de Trabajo Asociado, Fondos de empleados) y en cuatro tamaños de empresa (micro, pequeña, mediana y grande). Aplicando un análisis de componentes principales categóricos al capital de trabajo neto, razón corriente, prueba ácida, flujo de efectivo operacional, y ciclo de conversión de caja, se identificaron tres tipos de gestión de capital de trabajo (relajado, moderado y restringido) y, con un análisis multivariado de varianza, se observó su influencia sobre el desempeño financiero, expresada en el retorno sobre los activos, retorno sobre la inversión, retorno sobre la inversión en capital, y valor económico agregado. Los tipos de gestión de capital de trabajo fueron más influyentes que el subsector y el tamaño de la empresa, y el más utilizado fue el relajado orientado a la liquidez. Se concluye que el tipo de gestión de capital de trabajo de uso generalizado en el sector es el relajado, aunque con preferencia en los subsectores de Fondos de empleados, Multiactivas sin ahorro y crédito, y Contribuciones y créditos, e igualmente es el de mayor uso en empresas pequeñas; además, se pone de manifiesto que el tipo de gestión de capital de trabajo en el sector tiene gran relevancia en el desempeño financiero de las empresas y, de manera general, da lugar a un déficit en la creación de valor económico agregado y a una insuficiente eficiencia en el uso de los activos.
El objetivo de la presente investigación es analizar la relación que existe entre la divulgación voluntaria de capital intelectual y la rentabilidad de las empresas no financieras que cotizaron en la Bolsa Mexicana de Valores durante el periodo 2018-2019. Se consideró como hipótesis central que la divulgación voluntaria de capital intelectual está relacionada de manera positiva con la rentabilidad de las empresas mexicanas que participan en el mercado de capitales. La metodología utilizada es descriptiva y explicativa por medio de un análisis multivariado, a través, del método de regresión lineal, estudiando la relación de dependencia entre las variables. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que la divulgación voluntaria de capital intelectual genera una influencia positiva y significativa en las variables de rentabilidad ROA y ROE, no siendo así, con la QTOBIN, debido a que no genera una influencia significativa. Los resultados obtenidos permiten concluir que las grandes empresas mexicanas adaptaron la forma en la que se comunican con sus partes interesadas para poder explotar un recurso tan fundamental como su capital intelectual y este cambio les generó beneficios positivos.
En la presentación de este libro Series de Investigación de la RED REOALCEI, en su primera edición con la Editorial Americana High Rate Consulting, presentamos a nuestros autores e instituciones, quienes son miembros activos de nuestra Red Académica Internacional y nos han acompañado durante este enriquecedor proceso. En esta edición se presentan 09 artículos de interés internacional, representados por instituciones provenientes de varios países de Latinoamérica como: Colombia, México, Perú y Venezuela países de gran reconocimiento a nivel investigativo.
En el presente trabajo de investigación se analizan las características principales y más relevantes que identifican y se presentan en la mayoría de las microempresas en México, examinando además las prácticas administrativas, contables, económicas y financieras que realizan en el desarrollo de sus actividades o en la prestación de sus servicios las unidades económicas examinadas; de la misma manera, se estudian las fuentes de financiamiento a las que tienen acceso así como los motivos por las cuales recurren a fuentes de financiación específicas ante las dificultades que se suscitan para la obtención de créditos e inversiones en el sistema financiero y en el mercado de valores. Adicionalmente a lo expresado con antelación, se analizan las problemáticas que afrontan las microempresas en las áreas administrativas y financieras, los conflictos de mercado, abastecimiento y producción, los problemas legales y tributarios que implica la formalización de la microempresa, los conflictos tecnológicos relacionados con la maquinaria y equipos que emplean y las dificultades laborales en relación con los trabajadores, entre otros. Para realizar la investigación, se efectuó un estudio cuantitativo en el que se aplicaron regresiones lineales para realizar el análisis estadístico de los datos obtenidos mediante el instrumento respectivo, para estar en posibilidad de examinar si las fuentes de financiamiento a las que tienen acceso y las prácticas administrativas en las áreas contables, económicas y financieras que realizan las microempresas, pueden constituirse en herramientas para afrontar los problemas y dificultades a las que se enfrentan las unidades económicas en la ejecución de sus actividades o en la prestación de sus servicios.
