O objetivo do presente estudo foi investigar as contribuições do desenvolvimento de experimentos em laboratório sobre solos na disciplina Geografia. Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram 40 alunos do 1º ano dos Cursos Técnicos de Nível Médio Integrado em Química e Mecânica, pertencentes ao IFAM-CMC. A pesquisa é do tipo qualitativa e foi desenvolvida a partir da realização de atividades interventivas caracterizadas por aulas expositivas dialogadas e experimentos em laboratório. Os instrumentos de coleta de dados utilizados foram questionários, roteiros norteadores e avaliações realizadas em cada atividade. Os experimentos em laboratório foram satisfatórios, visto que os alunos conseguiram reconhecer minerais e rochas; identificaram o horizonte mais novo (O) e o horizonte mais antigo (R) do solo; diferenciaram as frações granulométricas por tamanho e textura do solo; compreenderam as cores dos solos, bem como a capacidade de infiltração e retenção de água em solos com características diferentes. Os experimentos no laboratório de caráter investigativo e interdisciplinar foram essenciais para a compreensão das temáticas estudadas, sendo importante sua realização no ensino técnico, fortalecendo um aprendizado integrado, regional e reflexivo.
Este trabalho foi desenvolvido no âmbito do Mestrado Profissional em Ensino Tecnológico por meio de uma pesquisa-ação com alunos do 6o ano de uma escola municipal na área rural de Manaus. Ele discute e ressalta a importância da prática da aula de campo no ensino de solos, de modo a proporcionar ao aluno, a construção de um saber mais abrangente sobre esta temática. Os resultados indicam que a aula de campo é uma estratégia didática eficaz, pois favoreceu o aumento do interesse, valorização e a ampliação do conhecimento sobre solos.
Esta pesquisa investigou o uso de um game denominado GameAlfa como recurso facilitador da alfabetização através do desenvolvimento de habilidades de consciência fonológica em alunos do segundo ano do ensino fundamental em uma escola pública de Manaus. Durante o percurso metodológico, adotamos a abordagem qualitativa tendo a pesquisa-ação como método; as técnicas e instrumentos de coleta de dados utilizados foram a pesquisa bibliográfica, a observação participante e o questionário adaptado em formato de testes. Como principal recurso, foi criado um game durante o percurso investigatório e aplicado junto à turma de alunos. Através da aplicação de um protótipo, foram coletadas as sugestões dos alunos e da professora da turma e aplicado novamente com as alterações sugeridas, buscando com isso um processo colaborativo de investigação e de criação do produto. Os resultados verificados foram satisfatórios, pois indicam o desenvolvimento de habilidades de consciência fonológica na maioria dos alunos participantes da pesquisa a partir do uso do GameAlfa como recurso tecnológico.

Este trabalho descreve a experiência de um projeto extensionista desenvolvido de forma itinerante em instituições públicas municipais de educação, onde serão apresentadas as principais contribuições para a popularização de conhecimentos sobre solos da região Amazônica. Tendo por objetivo geral fortalecer os conhecimentos sobre os solos da região Amazônica, sensibilizando alunos e comunidade sobre a importância do uso e ocupação sustentável do solo. As ações foram desenvolvidas com estudantes do ensino fundamental, e consistiram na realização de leituras e produção textual; jogos, desenhos e atividades lúdicas; utilização de recursos tecnológicos no laboratório de informática; aulas em áreas verdes das escolas e socialização das aprendizagens construídas. De maneira geral, os resultados indicam que o projeto contribuiu para difundir conhecimentos científicos básicos sobre solos, possibilitando aos estudantes reconhecer a importância de sua conservação.
