In the era of the digital educational environment, where each participant of the educational process is actively involved in its development, the Internet and its services have become a popular tool. Open education network tools are defined as ICT tools that ensure the formation and maintenance of network electronic information resources of an open education environment, the implementation of design technologies, and the use of open pedagogical systems. The article aims to reveal methods of monitoring and analyzing students’ learning achievements in higher education institutions using social networks. The main research method was a survey. The article justifies the purposefulness and efficiency of the use of social networks in the process of monitoring and analyzing students’ progress for new learning achievements. The study concludes that the use of social networks for monitoring and analyzing students’ progress ensures the individualization of the learning process and increases the effectiveness of monitoring learning achievements.
The paper considers political mass media discourse as a persuasive dialogue in which a journalist makes his interlocutors accept a certain point of view. The desired mental reaction on the part of interlocutors can only be achieved through careful choice of ways of persuasion and especially linguistic means often influencing effectively the emotional sphere. The persuasion can be subject to ideological aims thus representing a definite object as positive or negative. The paper claims that such object as the image of state can have opposite assessment in different periods of time and focuses on linguistic means of N. B. Boeva-Omelechko, et al.
This article considers the formation and implementation of a policy in relation to intellectual property in the activities of a higher education institution. Nowadays the creation, protection and commercialization of intellectual property objects are especially relevant for universities. The comprehensive solution of such issues stipulates the need for the development, adoption and implementation of university policies in relation to intellectual property objects as local regulatory acts. This study aims at analyzing intellectual property management policies in higher education institutions. The authors of the article have highlighted the key aspects of an intellectual property object as an object of management. To prove the relationship between intellectual property law and regulation that allows a university to own and freely dispose of its intangible assets, the article dwells on the best practices of European and US universities in terms of issuing local legal acts. The authors have concluded that it is inexpedient to copy the US university policy in Russia due to different approaches to intellectual property. They have developed the concept of strategic management of intellectual property based on the national legislation on the protection and disposal of intellectual property and local regulations of higher education institutions.
