Zero-field electron-spin resonance was used to measure the spin-relaxation time above T, in the isotropic ferromagnet EuO. These measurements show an asymptotic behavior in the reduced temperature region t~0.02. The dynamic exponent = was determined for this asymptotic region to be = =2.04(7). Longitudinal relaxation measurements of the kinetic coefficient in EuO of Kotzler et al. [Solid State Commun. 26, 641 (1978)] have been reanalyzed and provide an exponent :=1. 93(10) in the asymptotic region. Both values of = agree with theoretical predictions for a dipolar dominated region in Kcl space.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
