Con el trabajo fin de grado se espera que los estudiantes sean capaces de ir más allá de “decir el conocimiento”, dialogando con los interlocutores y posicionándose respecto a los contenidos de los que hablan. Este estudio se propone analizar estas dimensiones interactivas del texto examinando, según la teorización del metadiscurso, 116 introducciones y conclusiones de TFG de las áreas de Ciencias Sociales y Humanas, Ciencias de la Salud y de la Educación producidos en castellano entre los años 2017 y 2019. Los resultados aportan evidencias de que en los TFG se reconoce la presencia del lector, pero la interacción con él parece requerir una mayor armonización del posicionamiento con el que se presentan los juicios u opiniones y una relación dialógica que asegure una negociación interpersonal cuidadosa. De este conocimiento se derivan implicaciones didácticas concretas para la mejora de la formación en comunicación académica de los universitarios.

La alfabetización académica de los estudiantes de grado es una cuestión que preocupa a los docentes universitarios e investigadores del ámbito nacional e internacional. En el contexto español todavía hay pocos estudios empíricos acerca de la naturaleza de las dificultades que experimentan los estudiantes y de cómo estas se transforman durante la trayectoria de los estudiantes en todo un programa formativo. Ahí se sitúa este estudio que tiene por objetivo conocer el grado de alfabetización académica de los estudiantes del grado en Lenguas Modernas y las prácticas escritoras que realizan. Para ello participan, por una parte, 96 estudiantes de los cuatro cursos con una reseña académica producida ad hoc, cuyo análisis se centra en la selección y organización de la información, la configuración de la voz del autor y los aspectos formales; y, por otra parte, participan 28 docentes del mismo grado con una entrevista que se centra en conocer las prácticas escritoras que solicitan a los estudiantes. Entre los resultados más destacados se constata que las prácticas escritoras que los estudiantes realizan en este programa formativo son, en general, poco exigentes cognitiva, retórica y discursivamente y, consecuentemente, no conducen a los estudiantes al desarrollo eficaz de la práctica escritora solicitada a efectos de este estudio.
Este artículo se centra en un género poco atendido, como es la reseña académica de formación, con el objetivo de analizar su configuración retórico-lingüística siguiendo el planteamiento de tradición swalesiana de análisis de género. En este marco, se realiza un estudio empírico de corte mixto que analiza un corpus de 96 reseñas producidas en español por la población de estudiantes universitarios de un programa de formación completo como es el grado en Lenguas Modernas (Universidad de Deusto). En este corpus producido a efectos de la investigación, se identifican y analizan los propósitos comunicativos de las reseñas (movimientos retóricos) y los objetivos comunicativos de menor rango que completan esos propósitos (pasos y subpasos). A partir de este análisis, se crea y se valida un modelo analítico que se articula en dos movimientos retóricos (describir y valorar) para las reseñas académicas de formación. Este modelo se presenta como una herramienta útil para valorar la progresión de los estudiantes en la selección y organización de la información y en el desarrollo de la descripción y la argumentación.
Este trabajo de investigación presenta un análisis de cómo construyen la voz de autor estudiantes universitarios de una titulación de grado. Desde el enfoque del metadiscurso se plantea como objetivo identificar y analizar los recursos y expresiones utilizadas y trazar la trayectoria a través de los cuatro cursos del programa formativo. Se trata de un estudio de tipo cualitativo que tiene como corpus 96 reseñas producidas por los estudiantes de los cuatro cursos de grado. Los resultados constatan que los informantes configuran una voz de autor neutra que ni valora los contenidos ni resulta persuasiva.
