The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of health infrastructure and public socio-economic status on life expectancy in Indonesia. Health infrastructure indicators are health personnel, health facilities, and health insurance. Meanwhile, socio-economics indicators are dependency ratio, income inequality, and poverty. The models are estimated using a panel data set for 34 provinces in Indonesia from 2010 to 2016. This research is using a fixed-effect panel data approach. Empirical results show that health personnel and health insurance have a positive relationship with life expectancy. Dependency ratios and poverty also show a negative relationship with life expectancy. On the other hand, the availability of health facilities and income inequality have a weak relationship with life expectancy. This empirical examination result will help Indonesian governments to improve several aspects in order to increase life expectancy in Indonesia. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran infrastruktur kesehatan dan status sosial ekonomi masyarakat terhadap angka harapan hidup di Indonesia. Indikator infrastruktur kesehatan diantaranya tenaga kesehatan, fasilitas kesehatan, dan jaminan kesehatan. sedangkan indikator dari sosial ekonomi adalah beban ketergantungan, ketimpangan pendapatan, dan kemisinan. Model diesimasi menggunakan panel data dari 34 provinsi di Indonesia periode tahun 2010 hingga 2016. Pendekatan fixed effect digunakan untuk tujuan penelitian ini. Hasil empiris menunjukkan tenaga kesehatan dan jaminan kesehatan memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan angka harapan hidup. Beban ketergantungan dan kemiskinan juga memiliki hubungan negatif dan signifikan dengan angka harapan hidup. Pada sisi yang lain ketersediaan fasilitas kesehatan dan ketimpangan pendapatan memiliki hubungan yang lemah denganngka harapan hidup. Hasil empiris ini akan membantu pemerintah Indonsia untuk meningkatkan beberapa aspek dalam rangka untuk meningkatkan angka harapan hidup di Indonesia.Kata Kunci: pembangunan manusia, angka harapan hidup, infrastruktur kesehatan, sosial-ekonomi JEL Code: O15, O18 conclude that there is bi-directional causality between CO2 emissions and economic growth, between health expenditure and economic growth.Likelihood tests and Hausman tests are performed to determine the best approach Signifikan:between Common Effects, Fixed Effects, and Random Effects. The last step is the coefficient of determination (R 2 ) and the t-statistic test to determine the correlation value between variables in this study.

Literacy skill is an individual's ability to access, understand, and organize information that he or she has to be used in various activities in his or her life. By having good literacy skill, a student is expected to maximize the development of critical, creative, and social-empathy skills as well as knowledge affection. Therefore, the School Literacy Movement (GLS) program a ppears to help expedite the development of the students' literacy skill. However, in its implementation, the GLS program still needs to be refined so that it can be in accordance with the condition in the field. This research uses qualitative research methodology. The purpose of this research is to help schools solve problems in implementing GLS program in the field. By means of this research, it is expected that the implementation of GLS program can run optimally and bring about students with good literacy skill.

Kawasan Rumah Pangan Lestari is a program to optimize the utilization of environmental-friendly yards, and designed to help the fulfillment family quality and nutrition needs, foods diversification based on local resource, crops preservation, and family income improvement through household-based non-rice local food processing creative industry. This research aims to quantify the effectiveness of Kawasan Rumah Pangan Lestari program in Surakarta, and describe the correlation of program effectiveness toward the prosperity and food security of program implementer.This research employed a descriptive quantitative methode. The research variable consists of the effectiveness, household prosperity, and household food security. Data collection methode used a questionnaire and interview that compiled from 40 respondents of 10 KRPL group. This research used a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis technique which to measure the program effectiveness used one sample test statistic, and to describe the correlation of program effectiveness toward the prosperity and food security of program implementer used a Spearman test correlation.The result of this research shows that implementation of the Kawasan Rumah Pangan Lestari program in Surakarta is effective, and there is a positive correlation between the program effectiveness toward the prosperity and food security of program implementer in Surakarta. The effectiveness of the Kawasan Rumah Pangan Lestari program in Surakarta could be improved by maximizing the quality of socialization among the members and counseling about utilization of planting media as the alternative to replace the limited fields. And the last is improved the quality and quantity of the monitoring from the related agencies intensely and regularly.

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect farmer's decision in converting the function of their agricultural lands. The factors are: farmer's age, education level, total number of family members, the area of agricultural lands, income, and location of agricultural land. This study is conducted in Depok sub-district, Sleman district, Yogyakarta, as an area with high rate agricultural land function conversion, marked by the decrease in the area of agricultural land. This study is conducted using survey method, with farmers who decide to convert the function of their agricultural land and farmers who do not as unit analysis. The data is analyzed using logistic regression. The analysis result shows that farmer's age and agricultural land location have negative effect on the decision to convertagricultural land function, education level and total numbers of family members have positive effect, and the area of agricultural lands and income have no significant effect on the decision to convert the function of agricultural lands.

Rumah tangga atau keluarga merupakan tempat anak-anak untuk memaksimalkan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan serta memenuhi gizi mereka, guna menciptakan kualitas sumber daya manusia unggul dan menjadi pendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi Negara yang akan datang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji faktor karakteristik sosial ekonomi rumah tangga, keragaman makanan, dan lingkungan hidup serta pengaruhnya terhadap status gizi balita di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan cross sectional dan menggunakan data sekunder dari Indonesia Family Live Survey (IFLS) gelombang 5 (IFLS5). IFLS merupakan survei longitudinal dari sampel acak sekitar 83% penduduk di Indonesia pada tahun 1993. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah anak berusia 0-60 bulan (balita) yang berjumlah 4.670 balita. Metode penelitian menggunakan Model Regresi Multinomial Logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status gizi balita dipengaruhi oleh pendapatan keluarga, pendidikan ibu, jenis kelamin balita, wilayah tempat tinggal, akses pada air minum dan sanitasi yang baik. Kesimpulannya adalah pendidikan ibu sangat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tiga status gizi balita, yaitu gizi buruk, gizi kurang, maupun gizi lebih.
