Molybdenum-99 (99Mo) is a parent radioisotope of Technetium-99m (99mTc) widely used in nuclear diagnostics. The production of this radioisotope by PT. INUKI generated radioactive fission waste (RFW) that theoretically contains239Pu and235U, posing a nuclear proliferation risk. This paper discusses the determination of radionuclides inventory in the RFW and the proposed strategy for its management. The radionuclides inventory in the RFW was calculated using ORIGEN 2.1 code. The input parameters were obtained from one batch of 99Mo production using high enriched uranium in PT. INUKI. The result showed that the RFW contained activation products, actinides, and fission products, including239Pu and235U. This result was then used for consideration of the management of the RFW. The concentration of 235U was reduced by a down-blending method. The proposed strategy to further manage the down-blended RFW was converting it to U3O8 solid form, placed in a canister, and eventually stored in the interim storage for high-level waste located in The Radioactive Waste Technology Center.

Library in public and social facilities such as schools, mosques, churches and training centers has never become the main priority service unless it is intended accordingly. The good thing is, the library in such facilities always merges with other social functions such as special classes, gathering room or even dining room which is an addition to its original function: the reading room. Department of Architecture Universitas Indonesia, together with “Smandel 95 Berbagi Kasih Program” has conducted (has been conducting kalau aktivitasnya masih berlangsung) community engagement program, funded by the Directorate of Research and Community Engagement Universitas Indonesia, in an orphanage in Jakarta, namely Yayasan Tanjung Barat. The aim of this activity is to increase the occupant’s hobby in reading without renouncing the original activities through an energy-efficient and biophilic concept. Software-based lighting simulation and biophilic intervention concept were conducted to get the optimum result, a part of the design development through multi-discussions with the occupants and observations. Through this study, the energy efficiency from lighting intervention and the biophilic design presence in this library can be increased by 59% and 69% respectively.
Banten Bay is a 150 km2 sea area which includes the waterfront of Serang City in Banten Province, Indonesia with several large rivers flowing into the Bay. The rapid development of industrial and commerce surrounds this bay added with population growth in Serang City have caused environmental problems. For instance, there has been a surge in the volume of domestic and industrial waste that has been dumped along several rivers and finally leaked into Banten Bay. This study aimed to spatially visualize the existing waste flow from residential area to the location of landfills in order to assist the local government in evaluating their waste management system, and to help prevent the waste leaking into Banten Bay and even further beyond. By using hydrodynamic modelling and ground truthing, we can predict the potential waste hotspots and the seasonal patterns of marine debris around Banten Bay and its surroundings. The results show that plastic litter originating from the Cibanten River will drift to the west during the east monsoon and will move to the east during the west monsoon. Based on this evidence, plastic litter from the Cibanten River estuary has the potential to spread further towards the Sunda Strait during the east monsoon and into Jakarta Bay during the west monsoon. We encourage cooperation among local governments in Banten and West Java throughout the watershed as well as with the Jakarta Provincial Government to establish an integrated waste management system to prevent the waste leakage.
this study aimed to determine the increase in student activity through a blended learning approach in physics using augmented reality. This type of research is a classroom action research with a population of all students in Deli Serdang Regency. The research instrument used was a student observation questionnaire and Student Activity Sheet. The results of data analysis explained that the blended learning approach in physics using augmented reality can improve student learning activities.
The purpose of the study is to measure the influence of internal factors, external factors and the technology utilization on marketing management skill of manggosteen farmers in Bogor. The respondent farmers were 60 farmers who are farmer group member and minumun 0,5 hectare land area landowners. The research model was analyzed by structural equation model which includes four latent variables. Empirical results show that the management skill of Bogor mangosteen farmers is average. The internal factor, individually the highest effect was motivation. The highest effect of external factor was goverment assistance in market information. The highest effect of technology utilization was internet utilization. The marketing managerial skills, the data shown that place was the highest variable. The internal factor and technology ability were significant and indicated positive correlation. Fifty nine percents farmer marketing capacity explained by internal, external factor and technology skill. Based on the outer loading analysis, the most influential manifest internal factor variable was farming interest. The influential manisfest variable was goverment assistance in market information. The most influential manifest of technology ability variable was transportation and communication utilization. The variable that influences the marketing management skill, the most is placing.
