Crop wild relatives (CWRs) are invaluable gene sources for various traits of interest, yet these potential resources are themselves increasingly threatened by the impact of climate change as well as other anthropogenic and socio-economic factors. The prime goal of our research was to cover all aspects of wild Lens genetic resource management like species characterization, agro-morphological evaluation, diversity assessment, and development of representative sets for its enhanced utilization in lentil base broadening and yield improvement initiatives. We characterized and evaluated extensively, the global wild annual Lens taxa, originating from twenty seven counties under two agro-climatic conditions of India consecutively for three cropping seasons. Results on various qualitative and quantitative characters including two foliar diseases showed wide variations for almost all yield attributing traits including multiple disease resistance in the wild species, L. nigricans and L. ervoides accessions. The core set developed from the entire Lens taxa had maximum representation from Turkey and Syria, indicating rich diversity in accessions originating from these regions. Diversity analysis also indicated wide geographical variations across genepool as was reflected in the core set. Potential use of core set, as an initial starting material, for genetic base broadening of cultivated lentil was also suggested.

Program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) sebagai langkah awal strategi kebijakan penyelenggaraan pendidikan dalam memfasilitasi potensi mahasiswa sehingga mampu membentuk karakter profesional dalam bidang kerja yang ditekuni nantinya. Program MBKM, jalur wirausaha memberikan ruang kepada mahasiswa yang memiliki minat dan komitmen untuk menjadi wirausaha mandiri, adaptif, kreatif dan inovatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui minat wirausaha mahasiswa, karakteristik wirausaha, dan mendeskripsikan kompetensi wirausaha mahasiswa, yaitu aspek afektif, kognitif, dan psikomotorik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey, teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 77 mahasiswa semester III Program Studi Agroteknologi dan Agribisnis, Universitas Muslim Indonesia. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat mahasiswa mengikuti program MBKM sangat tinggi, yaitu 98.70%, karakteristik wirausaha mahasiswa termasuk kategori berkarakter dengan skor rata-rata 3.99. Kompetensi wirausaha mahasiswa berdasarkan indikator kemampuan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik termasuk kategori memiliki kompetensi wirausaha dengan skor rata-rata 4.02. The Independent Learning Campus Independent Program (MBKM) is the first step in the policy of implementing education in facilitating the potential of students so that they are able to form a professional character in the field of work that they will be engaged in later. The MBKM program, the entrepreneurial pathway, provides space for students who have an interest and commitment to become independent, adaptive, creative and innovative entrepreneurs.This study aims to determine student entrepreneurial interests, entrepreneurial characteristics, and describe student entrepreneurial competencies, namely affective, cognitive, and psychomotor aspects. This research is a survey research, the sampling technique is purposive sampling with a total sample of 77 third semester students of Agrotechnology and Agribusiness Study Program, Muslim University of Indonesia. Data analysis using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the student's interest in participating in the MBKM program was very high, namely 98.70%, the entrepreneurial characteristics of students were included in the character category with an average score of 3.99. Student entrepreneurial competence based on indicators of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities is included in the category of having entrepreneurial competence with an average score of 4.02.
Abstract. This research aims to know the growth and productivity of some strains of rice plant on dry planting season. This research was carried out in a BBT paddy fields (Integrated Seed Hall) Samahani Kuta Malaka, Aceh Besar Regency of Aceh Province, from Mai to October 2015. This study used a Randomized Design Group- nonfactor with 3 strains of rice that is: 14 1002 E, 11S3 E, 14 1009 and each repeated 3 times, so there are 9 units of the experiment. The observed variables are plant height and tillers of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 weeks after planting, flowering age, age of harvest, panicle length, the weight of 1000 grains of paddy, the percentage of grain contains per clump, the percentage of empty grain per tiller, heavy grain contains per clump, heavy grain contains per plot, and potential yield. There is a difference in growth and high productivity of plants, the length and weight of1000 the panicle. The tallest plants found in strain14E1002, longest panicle found in strains of 11S3 and a weight of 1000 grains found in the highest strain 11S3. Strain 14E1009 in achieving higher per hectare results 7.43 tonnes per hectare at dry planting season. Keywords: growth, productivity, rice,strain, dry planting season
