La cuarta revolución industrial trajo consigo la integración de diversas habilidades permeables, mismas que, orientadas a estudiantes de perfiles de ingeniería, mantienen una visión integral que permite ofertar una educación interdisciplinaria. Gracias a lo anterior, estudiantes de asignaturas como Mecatrónica puedan diseñar, elaborar y adaptar prótesis para pacientes amputados dentro de su formación científica y social, ampliando el campo de estudio a una aplicación práctica que permita fomentar la responsabilidad social universitaria. Dicha transversalidad permite que los estudiantes de Mecatrónica sean empáticos y que a su vez puedan vincular las tecnologías que promuevan el compromiso social.
En tiempos de la pandemia por COVID 19, las instituciones de Educación Superior en México aplicaron estrategias para adaptarse a nuevas condiciones; no obstante, se precisa explorar vías y métodos para atenuar los problemas y extraer lo positivo de esta situación. Este estudio tiene como objetivo: identificar las vivencias de docentes y estudiantes sobre los efectos de la pandemia, lo que servirá como referente para analizar los cambios introducidos; es de tipo descriptivo, transversal, y no experimental. Se aplicó un cuestionario con preguntas de diferentes tipos a estudiantes y docentes de una escuela de ingeniería. Los resultados mostraron similitudes entre las percepciones de ambos grupos y revelaron las necesidades formativas derivadas de los modelos utilizados en tiempos de pandemia.
<p>De acuerdo a estadísticas analizadas de los años 2017, 2018 y los meses transcurridos del 2019, se ha podido observar que los índices de violencia hacia la mujer han incrementado exponencialmente en México.<br />Simultáneamente, la aparición de las TICs (Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación), han permitido una vinculación prioritaria en términos de responsabilidad social. Así, las redes que ofrecen las TICS consienten que temas como el de la violencia hacia la mujer pueda ampliar su trama hacia la detección, acción, protección de las víctimas y, sobre todo, de prevención. Cuando lo anterior se conjuga, los problemas sociales atendidos tienen otra alternativa; además de que sirven de instrumento para llegar a la ciudadanía y lograr crear una red de participación contra el maltrato machista.<br />Bajo el precepto anterior, y siguiendo una metodología secuencial o de cascada, se ha propuesto contribuir con el desarrollo de una App móvil denominada “more life”, que emita el envío de una alerta de emergencia en caso de ser requerida; y cuyo objetivo esencial es el de contribuir a disminuir los índices de violencia además de trabajar en la prevención de esta.</p>
La pandemia provocada por la Covid-19 no solo movilizó el ámbito sanitario y de salud, el escolar también tuvo que replantearse y adoptar medidas emergentes que pudieran continuar con los programas educativos sin afectar a los integrantes del proceso escolar; por lo que diversas instituciones adoptaron plataformas digitales para impartir clases virtuales, sin embargo, no todas cuentan con la accesibilidad requerida por un estudiante con discapacidad. La presente investigación analiza la viabilidad de la plataforma MS Teams como estrategia educativa adoptada por la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León como medida emergente derivada de la pandemia de la Covid-19. A través de un estudio de caso fueron obtenidas las perspectivas de cinco estudiantes hipoacúsicos pertenecientes al programa de inclusión de la Facultad de Ingeniería Mecánica y Eléctrica. Los resultados obtenidos presentan la manera en que los estudiantes con discapacidad auditiva hacen accesibles sus clases, ya sea con la utilización de herramientas tecnológicas e incluso trabajo extracurricular para implementar subtítulos en las sesiones grabadas, para que, a su vez, las mismas puedan ser repasadas.
