The purpose of this study was to describe the science process skills of the XI grade science students at public high school (SMAN 1) Muaro Jambi through the viscosity material physics practicum. The researcher used a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. This research was conducted in November 2020. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA 2 at SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi, totaling 30 students and the data were collected using a total sampling technique. In this study, a research instrument was used in the form of an observation sheet of science process skills that had been validated by an expert validator, then the data from the scientific process skills obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the research on students 'science process skills in viscosity practicum showed that the level of students' science process skills was at a very good level, students were able to do experiments skillfully and correctly where students were skilled in observing, classifying, communicating, measuring, and predicting, while in concluding skills fall into the good category. The percentage of very good categories is 46.7% observation skills, 43.3% classification skills, 33.3% communication skills, 33.3% measuring skills and 26.7% predictive skills, while 33.3% concluding skills are categorized as good..
Tujuan Penelitian: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti tentang hubungan antara sikap siswa terhadap hasil pembelajaran siswa pada mata pelajaran fisika SMAN 1 Kota Sungai penuh. Metodologi: Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 40 peserta didik. Data pada penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui angket yang disebar seacra online. Temuan utama: Hasil menunjukan bahwa yang diproleh ini di lihat pada uji korelasi person mendapatkan yang dilihat dari hasil nilai signifikansi Sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0,000 yang berarti bahwa ada hubungan dari sikap kemandirian siswa dengan hasil belajar siswa. Keterbaruan penelitian: Setelah dilakukan penelitian didapatkan keterbaharuan dari penelitian ini yaitu hubungan sikap sisea terhadap pembelajaran fisika.
Science process skills are very important to be mastered by students to help improve critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between science process skills and critical thinking skills in terms of gender. This type of research used is an experiment with a quantitative research approach. The sampling technique in this study was a simple random sampling technique with a sample size of 50 students. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets of science process skills and critical thinking skills test questions. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. Based on the results of the correlation test that has been carried out, the Pearson correlation value is 0.648, which means that there is a strong relationship between science process skills and students' thinking skills. This research can be used as a guideline for scientific process skills research on critical thinking skills in the future. Karakter kerja keras merupakan karakter yang tidak boleh punah terlebih untuk siswa akhir kelas XII Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil deskripsi karakter kerja keras dalam mata pelajaran fisika kelas XII MIPA di SMAN 1 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey dengan instrumen penelitian berupa angket. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan simple random sampling. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XII MIPA 1, 2, dan 3 pada tahun ajaran 2020/2021, dengan jumlah total sampel sebanyak 60 responden. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa angket kerja keras mata pelajaran fisika tergolong "Baik". Dengan jumlah siswa yang memiliki karakter kerja keras yang berkategori sangat baik dengan persentase 8,3%. Sedangkan, jumlah siswa yang mendapatkan kategori baik dengan persentase 91,7%. Penelitian ini semoga dapat memberikan kontribusi sebagai pengetahuan untuk penulis dan guru yang bersangkutan dalam upaya meningkatkan karakter kerja keras mata pelajaran fisika di SMAN 1 Kota Jambi.
Keterampilan proses sains sangat penting dikuasai siswa untuk membantu meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pentingnya keterampilan proses sains terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik analisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif. Populasi yang digunakan yaitu guru di SMA N 8 Batanghari dan Man 5 Batanghari dengan sampel yang digunakan yaitu guru Fisika di SMA N 8 Batanghari dan MAN 5 Batanghari.
