A deliberate falsehood intentionally fabricated to appear as the truth, or often called as hoax (hocus to trick) has been increasing at an alarming rate. This situation may cause restlessness/anxiety and panic in society. Even though hoaxes have no effect on threats, however, new perceptions can be spread that they can affect both the social and political conditions. Imagery blown from hoaxes can bring negative effects and intervene state policies that may decrease the economy. An early detection on hoaxes helps the Government to reduce and even eliminate the spread. There are some system that filter hoaxes based on title and also from voting processes from searching processes in a search engine. This research develops Indonesian hoax filter based on text vector representation based on Term Frequency and Document Frequency as well as classification techniques. There are several classification techniques and for this research, Support Vector Machine and Stochastic Gradient Descent are chosen. Support Vector Machine divides a word vector using linear function and Stochastic Gradient Descent divides a word vector using nonlinear function. SVM and SGD are chosen because the characteristic of text classification includes multidimensional matrixes. Each word in news articles can be modeled as feature and with Linear SVC and SGD, the feature of word vector can be reduced into two dimensions and can be separated using linear and non-linear lines. The highest accuracy obtained from SGD classifier using modified-huber is 86% over 100 hoax and 100 nonhoax websites which are randomly chosen outside dataset which are used in the training process.
Landslide disaster is frequently happened in Indonesia, which has climate characteristic, area topography, and geological structure that make this country has many landslide potential areas. During the rainy season, the load on the slopes grows due to the increase in water content in the soil, which can lead to landslide. Landslide early warning system can be built based on geological structure and some physical environment parameters using sensors using the wireless sensor network. The communication networks with Internet technology support a substantial backbone for communication. IoT architecture can accommodate wireless sensor network for landslide early warning system. This paper describes the system uses an Arduino ATMega 2560 microcontroller to collect data from many sensors. The measured and actual physical parameters are obtained, which indicates the system succeeds in providing sensed data.
AbstrakSemakin maraknya tindak pencurian membuat pemilik rumah khawatir saat meninggalkan rumahnya. Tidak jarang pemilik rumah melakukan pengecekan ganda pada setiap pintu rumah untuk memastikan semua pintu telah terkunci dengan baik. Saat ini sedang berkembang sebuah teknologi rumah pintar atau smart home yang membuat penggunanya lebih mudah memantau rumah mereka. Smart Home merupakan dimana semua perangkat dan aplikasi pada suatu rumah terintegrasi sehingga memudahkan kita untuk mengontrol sebagian dari perangkat rumah. Smart Home ada dari beberapa dekade dalam hal keamanan dan kontrol perangkat sederhana. Hal seperti ini lebih dikenal dengan metode Internet of Things atau yang lebih dikenal dengan IoT. Salah satu fitur smart home yang mendukung peningkatan tingkat keamanan pada suatu rumah ialah fitur door lock system. Door lock system memungkinkan pengguna dapat mengunci, menutup, memantau, hingga menyalakan alarm secara otomatis apabila terjadi pembobolan pada rumah tersebut. Fokus Penelitian ini adalah implementasi user interface pengendalian kemanan rumah dengan door lock system kendali logika on-off dengan menggunakan mikrokontroler Atmega16. Kemudian diintegrasikan dengan aplikasi android melalui internet dengan metode IoT, sehingga sistem keamanan dirumah dapat dimonitor dan dikendalikan secara real time dengan menggunakan sensor PIR. Dengan fitur door lock system pada suatu rumah diharapkan dapat mengurangi dan mencegah tindak pencurian.
AbstractThe more rampant act of theft makes people worried when leaving home. Not infrequently people double check on every door of the house to make sure all doors have been locked. Currently developing a smart home technology that makes users more easily monitor their homes. Smart Home is where all devices and applications in homes an integrated to allows us to control of the home device. Smart Home exists from several decades in terms of security and simple device control. This is better known as the Internet of Things method or better known as IoT. One of the smart home features that support the increased level of security in a house is the door lock system. Door lock system allows users to lock, close, monitor, to automatically turn on the alarm in the house. The focus of this Research is the implementation of user interface of home security control with door lock system of on-off logic control by using Atmega16 microcontroller. Then integrated with android application via internet with IoT method, home security system can be monitored and controlled in real time by using PIR sensor. With this system in a house is expected to reduce and prevent theft.
