In this paper the preparation and electrochemical characterization of an immunosensor for Chagas disease is described. The results obtained indicating the possibility of modification of ITO surface by formation of an LbL film constructed by the intercalation of PVS as polyanion and AgNP-SiPy + as polycation. The LbL films were then modified by the incorporation of Chagas ATG on theirs surface. These modified LbL films showed a pronounced impedance change when in the presence of the Chagas ATB indicating that this kind of film could be used in a device for diagnosis of Chagas disease.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
