Penelitian ini di dasari atas peristiwa besar yang menimpa masyarakat Lombok khususnya masyarakat Kabupaten Lombok Utara, yakni terjadinya gempa dengan kekuatan 7 skala ritcher pada tanggal 5 agustus 2018 yang menyebabkan lumpuhnya kondisi sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat kabupaten Lombok Utara. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan kondisi sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat Kabupaten Lombok Utara dan mengkaji strategi apa saja yang bisa dilakukan untuk memulihkan kembali kondisi sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat di KLU, metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yakni berusaha menggambarkan kondisi sosial-ekonomi masyarakat dengan ungkapan kata, yang didukung oleh dokumentasi. Melalui data tersebut nantinya akan digambarkan kondisi sebenarnya dilapangan. Dalam mengumpulkan data, penelitian ini menggunakan documentary analysis atau analisis dokumen karena metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berbentuk dokumentasi, baik untuk memahami isinya secara substansi atau untuk menjelaskan makna yang lebih dalam dari dokumen-dokumen tersebut. Bahan dokumenter berbentuk buku atau catatan harian, laporan dari media, surat resmi, autobiografi, surat-surat pribadi, memorial, kliping, dokumen pemerintah atau swasta, data di website, dan seterusnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pasca terjadinya gempa bumi di Kabupetn Lombok Utara bahwa kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat mengalami kelimpuhan total, baik dari sisi produksi, distribusi dan konsumsi, sehingga kebanyakan masyarakat bertahan dengan mengandalkan bantuan dari beberapa sumber. Terkait dengan strategi pemulihan pasca bencana gempa bumi di Kabupaten Lombok Utara bisa dilakukan dengan beberapa cara sebagai berikut :Pemberian Bantuan Pasca terjadinya bencana,Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM), Pengembangan kemampuan dalam permodalan, Pengembangan Kelembagaan Ekonomi Rakyat
Influence of boron content in boron-based pyrotechnic composition and particle size distribution of oxidiser, i.e., KNO, in Mg-based pyrotechnic composition is examined by subjecting these to various tests. Study on boron-based pyrotechnic compositions reveals that compositions with 20, 25 and 30 parts by weight of boron are promising igniter compositions wrt their calorimetric values, pressure maximum, ignition delay, etc. However, from sensitivity point of view, the composition with 30 parts of boron is more safe to handle, manufacture and use. From the study of particle size distribution of KNO, in Mg-based pyrotechnic compositions, it is observed that the composition with wider particle size distribution of oxidiser gives better packing density for their binary mix with metal fuel, which in turn gives lower ignition delay and ignition temperature.
The UK government has set an ambitious target in the proportion to be generated from renewable sources by 2020 in order to decarbonize the UK electricity. Based on these targets the Electricity Networks Strategy Group (ENSG), developed a "Gone-Green" scenario for the energy mix, which outlines the anticipated rise in generating capacity from wind. The challenge imposed in incorporating this volume of renewable energy is significant , introducing new technical and system balancing demands. In addition, significant changes will be required with regard to interoperable and scalable operational modeling and analysis procedures in order to secure such future transmission networks. Investigation, development and deployment of emerging industry standards such as the Common Information Model (CIM) on high performance computational platforms to fully enable interoperable power system data exchange both internally and externally to electrical power network operators, such as National Grid is under process. The new systems, whilst adding increased levels of monitoring and possibly control will provide a huge challenge operationally. In order to accommodate the network changes, an increased amount of flexibility will be required from the system in addition to significant improvements in operational control procedures. Key to achieving this will be coordination between all of the individual control systems facilitated by an increase in the availability of real-time data on the state of the power system. To that effect, WAMS in the form of a resilient network of PMU's is required to improve situational awareness for network operators. In this paper the emerging industry development and future planning has been presented to understand the upcoming challenges on transmission network as well as in the distribution systems.
