The method used is the mixing method. The quantitative method-Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) in measuring efficiency and descriptive qualitative by conducting interviews with informants from the insurance shariah industry, AASI, OJK, and BKF for spin-off criteria analysis. . The data used is the input data being assets, operating expenses, while the output data is profit and operating income. Efficiency on profit for SBU is higher than full-pledged companies. Efficiency on revenue is slightly different where the efficiency values of full-pledge companies are not entirely at the bottom. Related to spin-off criteria, the SBU industry has not achieved the number of tabarru funds and participant investment of 50% of the parent fund. Based on these facts, the effectiveness of the spin-off implementation has not been realized optimally. This is because the objectives of increasing efficiency and growing the number of industries have not been achieved. The factors that support the realization of effectiveness are leadership commitment, financial management strategies, professional human resources, the role of government and regulatory bodies

Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) is an organization for Muslim scholars who provide guidance for the Muslim community in the form of fatwās on a particular situation on which the community can rely. In the ongoing situation relating to the COVID-19 pandemic since March 2020, MUI released a fatwā as to how to face the pandemic. This research is aimed to measure the level of people’s obedience to the fatwā. To obtain an accurate measurement, this research involves two others MUI's fatwās - a fatwā related to bank interest and a fatwā related to interfaith marriage – by way of making a comparison. This research uses mixed methods which combined the quantitative method using SPSS and the qualitative method. This research finds that the young unmarried Muslim, mostly under-25- year-old university students, have the highest level of obedience to the fatwā related to COVID-19. The fatwā related to interfaith marriage is the most obeyed fatwās, and fatwā related to COVID-19 is the least one among three fatwās in this research.
Congregational prayers is an obligation for male Muslims. Carrying out the prophet's orders and reviving his teachings is called living hadith. This research focuses on revealing the intention of congregational prayer for congregation at The Great Mosque of Central Java (MAJT), in living hadith perspective. MAJT as a place of worship, is also used as a religious tourism object. The dual function of MAJT is interesting to study its existence. This research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The research results are: first, the implementation of congregational prayers at MAJT is in accordance with hadith of Prophet Muhammad SAW. Second, the congregational prayers intention at MAJT is based on a varied understanding, without the intention of carrying out living hadith, even among the congregation performed as a complement to their religious tourism intentions.
