Since the policy of sending students home to study as a result of responding to the dangers of the pandemic, universities around the world have increasingly trusted distance learning solutions. The solution was to rely on digital literacy to continue and improve student learning outcomes during the COVID-19 disruption. For this reason, the researchers have proven it through analytical efforts and in-depth studies in several international publications. In short, the researchers examined each piece of evidence with a phenomenological approach to get answers to research questions that are among other things, involve a data coding system, critical evaluation, and drawing of valid and reliable final results. The data discussion concludes that world universities believe that digital technology that was increasingly trending can become a learning innovation even though the world will continue to hit global education. This paper will describe an alternative approach to promoting English as a foreign language from an early age among Indonesian families. We are aware that several approaches have been taken by researchers, curriculum writers, and school teachers, but in reality, the success has not been as satisfying as the expectations of all parties, especially the government. Therefore, we have collected data and analyzed it under a descriptive qualitative study approach. Data analysis starts from applying data coding, critical interpretation, evaluation, and data organization to become valid, finding data to answer questions as above. Based on research evidence from hundreds of works of literature, we can conclude from the results of this study, among other things, that the approach to promoting English language learning in families at an early age has proven to be very successful compared to the approach to learning in schools when they are teenagers. Thus, it is hoped that this finding will be beneficial for many parties; curriculum designers, teachers, and parents.
Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi sudut dan garis di kelas VII Mts. Normal Islam Samarinda. Jenis penelitian ini adalah ex post facto dan, teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik proporsional random sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 132 siswa. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket kecerdasan emosional, dan tes hasil belajar matematika. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan regresi linier sederhana dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Berdasarkan perhitungan analisis deskriptif, nilai rata-rata dari data kecerdasan emosional siswa sebesar 178,41 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional siswa kelas VII MTs. Normal Islam Samarinda pada kategori tinggi. Untuk nilai rata-rata dari hasil belajar matematika siswa adalah 65,33 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kelas VII Mts. Normal Islam Samarinda pada kategori sedang. Dari hasil analisis inferensial menggunakan regresi linier sederhana, diperoleh persamaan penduga Ŷ = -32,736 + 0,550X. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh thit = 19,631; ttabel= 1,645 dan p = 0,000, diperoleh nilai thit lebih dari ttabel yaitu 19,631> 1,645 dan taraf signifikansi statistik kurang dari taraf signifikansi penguji α = 0,05 maka persamaan regresi penduga yang diperoleh adalah berarti pada taraf signifikan 5%, sehingga terdapat pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap hasil belajar matematika. R 2 = 0,748 menunjukkan bahwa 74,8% hasil belajar matematika siswa dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel kecerdasan emosional. Dengan demikian, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa di kelas VII MTs. PENDAHULUAN Pendidikan adalah suatu usaha atau kegiatan yang dijalankan dengan sengaja, teratur dan berencana dengan maksud mengubah atau mengembangkan perilaku yang diinginkan. The students’ difficulties on understanding the material and the lack of the enthusiasm in learning mathematics, especially in angle measurement material were be the basic reasons for this research. In addition, conventional learning methods that characterized by lectures were still often used by teachers in learning. Therefore, the learning not being more active, effective, and enjoyable. The development of educational learning media like analog clock board was one of the solutions to improve students’ understanding. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of analog clock board as learning media to solve mathematics learning problems. The development model used was a 4D development research model. The results of media validation stated that analog clock board was feasible to be used in mathematics learning for angle measurement material. In addition, the results of the questionnaire shown that 90% of teachers and 100% of students stated the media was "very interested". The experiment results showed that analog clock board was more effective to improve students' understanding on angle measurement.
In this paper, we first prove an integral majorization theorem related to integral inequalities for functions defined on rectangles. We then apply the result to establish some new integral inequalities for functions defined on rectangles. The results obtained are generalizations of weighted Favard’s inequality, which also provide a generalization of the results given by Maligranda et al. (J. Math. Anal. Appl. 190:248–262, 1995) in an earlier paper.
