In the process of industrial corporation activities a lot of waste, which pollutes the atmosphere, is generated, for example ash and slag. In Tomsk region, by estimates, ash stores occupy about 600 hectares, which contain about 25 million tons by weight. In Russian thermal power-stations ash disposal areas there are about 1.3 billion tons of ash, and only 10% of it is used. That is why this problem is topical enough. In this paper the scheme of producing ash ceramic bricks and complex ash and slag waste processing is shown. Besides, profitability of the project is presented
Zeolites are widely used as catalysts and catalyst supports for fuel and lubricants production processes with enhanced performance properties. Design of industrial reactor requires the construction of a mathematical model and selection of optimal operating conditions for reducing the number of scaling stages. The authors have proposed a scheme of hydrocarbons conversion on zeolite catalysts, thermodynamics of reactions has been considered and the inverse kinetic problem has been solved. The model of reactor of straight–run gasoline fractions refining in software HYSYS Aspen Plus™ process simulator has been developed and its adequacy to experimental data has been shown
Abstract. In this article extraction of methane from coal beds is presented. The article presents results of the study of downhole pumping equipment used in the exploitation of coal bed methane wells. The features of various types of equipment such as piston sucker-rod pumping units, electrical centrifugal pumping units and sucker-rod screw pumping units have been considered. The results show benefits of sucker-rod screw pumping units because of their versatility and resistance to higher content of mechanical impurities.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
