The review is devoted to integration of innovative virtual reality technologies in the complex of medical rehabilitation of patients with disabilities. The analysis of data presented in modern domestic and foreign literature proves the effectiveness of using these technologies for recovery of impaired motor functions in patients of various ages with nervous and musculoskeletal system pathologies and gives evidence of their corrective effect on neurophysiological motor deficiency. Evaluation of the achieved results from the perspective of evidence-based medicine confirms the feasibility of using a personalized approach to targeting and controlling the dosage of virtual technologies in the complex of rehabilitation measures.
Burns are an actual problem of modern medicine. Oxidative stress, microcirculation, and hemostasis disorders are important links in the pathogenesis of burn disease. It is shown that these processes are significantly influenced by the point effect of low-intensity (LI) electromagnetic radiation (EMR) of the millimeter (MM) and submillimeter (subMM) ranges. However, the final opinion on the advantages of a particular range has not been formed. We have given a comparative assessment of the results of the effects of various frequency-energy parameters of microwaves on the indicators of adaptive reactions in rats under experimental thermal trauma and viscoelastic properties of blood in the case of burn disease.
Medical rehabilitation in our country is under reformation currently and new rehabilitation system model is being created. In this regard, it is particularly important to study path of our predecessors and pioneers of this scientific direction. The article analyzes the experience of organization and establishment of industrial rehabilitation system for patients and disabled persons, created on the basis of Nizhny Novgorod research Institute of traumatology and orthopedics and medical-sanitary unit of Gorky automobile factory in the 70-s of the previous century. The article focused on both medical and socio-economic efficiency issues of the established system, which has been a school of excellence in Russian Federation for many years. Knowledge of this experience could be of great value for current specialists, because, as our compatriot A.M. Gorky said, "Without knowing the past, it is impossible to understand the true meaning of the present and the goals of the future."
Goal of research: analysis of the effectiveness of Biofeedback therapy is differentiated depending on the clinical forms of autonomic dysfunction. Exchange rate control efficacy of biofeedback hardware was conducted on the dynamics of clinical andl aboratory data, surveys and assessment of the functional State of the SNC using heart rate variability, vegetative resonance test, Kerdo index definition, as well as èlektrokardiografiče applications and questionnaires, characterizing the State of psychoemotional sphere (Spilbergera–Hanina, test, Luscher). Laboratory tests include a complete blood count with evaluation of Adaptive reactions of the organism. The results of the rehabilitation complex of the patients with the use of biofeedback have confirmed its effectiveness.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
