The article presents the main tendencies and prospects of development of the meat cattle breeding industry in the Ural Federal District. It is shown that the industry plays an important role in the production of quality beef. Mentioned is the quantity of cattle of beef production direction in the regions of the Ural Federal District, breed composition of cattle, availability of breeding reproducers. The applied technologies of beef cattle breeding, availability of breeding programs for work with large cattle of beef productivity direction, interrelation between breeding reproducers, peasant-farming farms and fattening grounds are shown. On the basis of the received results prospects of development of branch of beef cattle breeding, necessity of development of the small enterprises on cultivation of breeds of beef cattle are developed, and also necessity of development of fattening pads is established.Along with creation of fattening enterprises, it is necessary to pay attention to breeding work with breeds of beef cattle. Each subject of the Ural Federal District needs its own program of tribal work with breeds of meat production. In order to ensure uninterrupted supply of young animals with fattening pads, it is necessary to develop peasant farms and private subsidiary farms. The existing pedigree factories and tribal loudspeakers will provide small forms of management of tribal youngsters. This will provide jobs and employment for the population of remote villages and villages, and will allow the efficient use of agricultural land. Consumer cooperatives and livestock associations can be a connecting link. These structures will coordinate technological and breeding issues, development of modern technologies.Performance of tasks on increase in production of high-quality beef is connected with effective use of breed resources of large cattle of a meat direction of productivity, realisation of their selection-genetichex potential, creation of optimum conditions for the maintenance of animals.
Compliance with the sowing technology is the basis for the cultivation of any agricultural crop, since the yield and product quality, material and monetary costs, the seeding rate, the area of plant nutrition, as well as the design features of the machines used, depend on it. When sowing sugar beet, this issue is most relevant because recently, the sowing of this crop has undergone major changes. Most of the seeds used in Russia are both granulated and single-sprout. The seeding rate is set at the final density and, therefore, a delay in the growth of individual plants is not permissible. In this regard, serious requirements are imposed on the design of the seed sowing apparatus, one of the indicators of which is to ensure the placement of seeds on the loose bottom of the sowing furrow, backfilling it with soil from above with subsequent compaction creates unfavorable conditions for seed germination.
The paper deals with the topic of the development of the beef cattle breeding industry in the Tyumen region. The dynamics of the productive qualities of French beef breeds for a fifteen-year breeding period in the conditions of the south of the Tyumen region are analyzed. The object of the study is imported breeds such as Charolais, limousine, Salers and Aubrac. In the research process, the main economically useful and technological qualities were analyzed. Research results show that over a fifteenyear period of breeding French beef cattle in the Tyumen region, the annual increase in livestock ranges from 10 to 12%, the age of heifer insemination decreases to 19 months, calves reach business output up to 87%, milk production reaches up for calves up to 237 kg and heifers up to 218 kg. Evaluation of a complex of productive qualities shows that more than 90% of animals fully comply with the requirements of the standard. The experience of breeding cattle of French beef breeds in the conditions of the Tyumen region shows that animals have fully adapted to the new living conditions and have formed an important strategic reserve in the formation of the specialized industry of cattle breeding in the Russian Federation. Herewith, local breeders of high-quality meat give greater preference to such breeds as Hereford, Aubrac and Salers, which amounts to 30.2, 31.9 and 20.7%, and limousine and Charolais, which amounts to 12.0 and 5.2% respectively from the total population. This is explained by the complex of economic and biological features of these breeds, namely, modest requirements, precocity, reproductive abilities and other productive qualities.
The article describes characteristics of milk productivity of meat cow breeds in the south of Tyumen region. The breeds under study (Hereford, Charolais, Limousine, Salers and Obrak) are compared. The level of milk productivity in Hereford, Obrak and Salers cows is higher than that of limousine and Charolais. The average daily productivity of Hereford cows was 4.97 kg, Obrak cows – 4.89 kg, Salers cows – 4.77 kg, limousines cows – 4.51 kg and Charolais cows – 4.44 kg. Hereford cows had the most nutritious milk – 3103.8 J, milk produced by Obrak and Salers cows had a nutritional value which was lower by 1.0 %, by limousine cows – by 2.8 %, by Charolais cows – by 4.3 %. Milk productivity tends to increase with age and different generations. Thus, Charolais cows had the highest milk yield, and the Limousine cows had the lowest milk yield. Unique and time-consuming data that can be used by all agricultural enterprises are presented.
