The purpose of this study was to identify what effect the entrepreneurship technology-driven environment has on the selfdirected learning skills of graduate pharmaceutists. This was quasiexperimental research using quantitative and qualitative instruments to collect and process data. The graduate students majoring in Pharmacy were sampled to form the experimental and control groups. The selfdirected learning skills scale, the integrated achievement test, and a retained knowledge test in Chemistry, the entrepreneurial potential selfassessment questionnaire, the questionnaire on computer literacy, and a semi-structured interview were the measurement instruments for the study. The IBM SPSS Statistics software and effect size calculator for t-test were used to process statistical data yielded from measurements. The results suggested that a technology-mediated learning environment combining the professionalism-related online course with an online collaboration-based entrepreneurship project fosters self-directed learning skills bringing substantial educational and professional benefits like developed entrepreneurial skills, computer skills, and better academic performance to the students majoring in Pharmacy. Measurements results of the variables showed that the participants of the experimental group who received project-based online training in entrepreneurship showed ≈20% improvement in self-directed learning skills, entrepreneurial potential, computer literacy, and academic achievements. The intervention model was also perceived positively by the participants. It is recommended that the teachers were trained in Marketing before the delivery of the course.

Мета роботи – аналіз методів та засобів навчання, направлених на оптимізацію викладання дисципліни “Психіатрія. Наркологія” на кафедрі психіатрії, загальної та медичної психології Державного закладу “Дніпропетровська медична академія Міністерства охорони здоров’я України”. Основна частина. Враховуючи розповсюдженість психічних розладів в Україні та світі, постала необхідність змінити ставлення у студентів медичних вузів до проблем, якими десятиліттями займалися лише лікарі-психіатри. Для підвищення якості освіти, інтересу до предмета, а також задля розвитку у студентів нестандартного, творчого мислення на кафедрі психіатрії, загальної та медичної психології ДЗ “ДМА” широко застосовуються такі завдання, як кросворди, кейси, в тому числі і відеокейси, рольові ігри. Для оцінки ефективності запропонованих форм оцінки знань студентів було розроблено уніфікований опитувальник. Для виключення суб’єктивності при оцінці цих знань, а також для оптимізації і стандартизації роботи викладачів, введена багаторівнева система навчання і оцінювання, яка заснована на так званих “рівнях навчання” за В. П. Беспальком. Висновок. Постійне вдосконалення процесу викладання дозволяє поглиблювати знання майбутніх лікарів з дисципліни “Психіатрія. Наркологія”.

The aim: To determine the level of motivation for learning and professional development among 6th-year students of the medical faculty. Materials and methods: Included a comparative analysis of contemporary scientific psychological-pedagogical works on this issue and questionnaire surveys. The research design involved the use of psychological diagnostic testing methods by A.O. Rean, V.O. Yakunin, and K. Zamfir in the modification by A.O. Rean. Results: When studying the levels of motivation for acquiring knowledge in students from the two investigated groups, differences were found in the inter¬pretation and perception of motivation content. For the first group, the main motivation is the possibility of becoming a highly qualified specialist, while for the second group, it is to ensure the success of their future profession. However, both groups of students have high levels of internal motivation. The main reason for the difference in attitudes toward the learning process is the different motivational complexes in students, which determine a different hierarchy of motives in the studied groups in achieving the goal of becoming a doctor, albeit through different means (due to a greater influence of internal negative motivation, especially in the second group). Conclusions: The main motivation for students of the first group to study is the opportunity to become a highly qualified specialist, while for students of the second group, it is to ensure the success of their future professional activity, primarily through high levels of internal motivation. The effectiveness of the educational process and the future development as a doctor are determined by the type of their motivational complex. Taking this into account can serve as the main reserve of motivation for students and be useful in developing measures to attract and retain medical personnel.
