“…Suchenwirth (1963) stated that of 42,707 patients seen in the medical clinics at Kiel in 12 years, 100 were diagnosed clinically as having sarcoidosis and of these eight had nervous involvement. In the careful study by Mayock, Bertrand, and Morrison (1963) of 145 patients in whom the diagnosis was proved histologically, 23 had symptoms probably indicating involvement of the nervous system.…”
