“…On the other hand, if CNS involvement with sarcoidosis is often missed (Delaney, 1977) then the association of psychosis and sarcoidosis may have been underestimated and may in fact be greater than would be expected by chance. Paranoid psychosis and auditory hallucinations in CNS sarcoidosis have been noted to remit with steroid treatment (Suchenwirth & Dold, 1969), but this finding is based upon isolated case reports and the possible value of steroid treatment in cases such as those described here has not been established.…”
