“…The reentry problem has been reviewed by Gunther et al (1977). Smith et al (1977) reported a method for foliage whereby residues were directly transferred to a paper strip, paper chromatographed, and then reacted with 4-(pnitrobenzyl)pyridine (NBP) to form a "blue" color. Comparison of the obtained color with a reference color chart gave an estimate of the insecticide level.…”
