La educación ha experimentado cambios tremendos, incluido el de proporcionar un proceso dinámico entre profesores y estudiantes. El propósito de este estudio fue determinar la incidencia de la competencia digital en el desempeño docente en instituciones educativas del nivel primario. Se asumió el enfoque cuantitativo, siguiendo una investigación de tipo básica, diseño no experimental y nivel transversal de descripción causal. Se empleó el método de muestreo no probabilístico, se administraron dos cuestionarios a 85 profesores de escuela primaria. Los resultados se analizaron mediante estadística de regresión lineal ordinaria. Para probar las hipótesis de la investigación se obtuvo un Nagelkerke R2 de 0,578, lo que explica la variabilidad en los datos e identifica el efecto de las habilidades numéricas en el rendimiento académico en un 57,8%. Una significancia, p=0,000 que representa que p es menor que el valor de significancia de 0,05, lo que significa que el evento es significativo. Se concluyó que las competencias digitales tienen un impacto significativo en el rendimiento docente en una escuela primaria.

During the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, vocational counselors in Switzerland more frequently worked from home (WFH) and less frequently worked on-site. The aim of this study was to assess how WFH corresponds with indicators of job performance and occupational wellbeing. More specifically, the current questionnaire study analyzed the increase in WFH, self-reported productivity, distractibility in WFH, current job satisfaction, work-life balance in WFH, and feeling of loneliness. Findings showed that the increase in WFH in vocational counseling psychologists during the COVID-19 pandemic was associated with an increase in productivity and job satisfaction and with lower distractibility in WFH compared to work on-site. However, more frequent WFH was not significantly associated with improved work-life balance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Vocational counselors who shared the office on-site with many colleagues experienced higher feeling of loneliness during WFH. Vocational counselors regarded the condition of WFH as productive and satisfying while work-life balance did not improve. The discussion sheds light on the potential WFH-related increase of boundary management demands.

The chapter reveals the problem of health in the context of digitalization and building an organizational culture based on hybrid communication, workplace practices, and burnout prevention. Health is the main human resource, which is becoming a predictor of organization success in the 21st century; and it is the responsibility of business to create conditions conducive to the health of employees. The problem of technological stress and understanding of health based on medical and psychological approaches are considered. It is concluded that the psychological approach allows a broader consideration of health in relation to conditions of digitalization - social context and role of emotions. An overview of health research results in various countries is presented, taking into account the factors of education, gender, age, and culture. Recommendations are given for building an organizational culture based on hybrid communication, behavior in the workplace. and prevention of emotional burnout.
