This paper aims to compare quality of higher education in Pakistan and India. In this regard, data were collected concerning policies regarding admission and completion of PhD degrees in Pakistan and India through websites and notifications of Higher Education Commission (HEC) and University Grant Commission (UGC). The policies for admission and award of PhD degrees in both countries are then compared separately using Qualitative Comparative Analysis. There were four major admission criterions. Out of these four criterions, in three cases, rules set by HEC of Pakistan are relatively strict as compared to the rules set by UGC in India. Similarly, there are eight major criterions for the award of PhD degree after admission in the PhD program. Out of these eight criterions, the rules set by HEC in Pakistan and UGC in India are same for the two criterions, whereas, in the remaining six criterions, the rules set by HEC of Pakistan are strict as compared to the rules set by UGC in India. Hence, it is concluded that procedures for PhD programs in Pakistan are relatively better than that of procedures for PhD programs in India.

This study examines the influence of leadership on job performance among employees of selected government secondary schools in Lagos Nigeria. The study is a quantitative research which employed the stratified sampling technique, this criterion suits the present study because the employees in this study are already in sub-groups within stratified respectively. The participants selected for sampling were heterogeneous and stratified sampling ensured equal opportunity of the participants. with sample size of 108 employees for the study. Data were collected using online google form and were analyzed using statistical tool (SPSS 25.0). Pearson Chi-square test of independence and Multiple Regression were used to analyze the data. Findings of the descriptive analysis revealed that, the level of job performance and leadership were good. However, the level of job satisfaction was moderate. The study recommended amongst other, that in other to minimize the limitation of self-reporting data, further study is required to adopt a qualitative research technique, future researches should include other state holders such other agency as respondents.

The role of internal auditing has received significant attention from researchers in the recent past. Due to its enormous contribution to the banking system, it has been used extensively to support other governance processes. The objective of this research paper is to explore how internal audit activity plays a role in the acquisition of external audit services in the national banks of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Internal audit activity and external audit services represent a dynamic process of the corporate governance process. The study uses both qualitative and quantitative data to determine the role that internal auditing plays in the acquisition of external audits. The data is collected from 27 national banks in the UAE using questionnaires, hence it gives the opinions that people have about auditing as well as the figures of respondents. The study aimed to understand how the functions of internal audits contribute to the acquisition of external audits. The main contribution of this study is supporting the arguments that auditing researchers have not been fully responsive to the issues associated with changes in internal audit, services that may be offered, and internal audit’s growing function (Hayek, 2013)
