In addition to these four substances, Cabral (2010) detected the presence of other anthocyanidins though the peaks of m/z 271, 287, 303, 317 and 319 through studies using ESI(+) MS/MS. “…Durante o estudo de escala laboratorial o extrato e as folhas foram submetidos a diferentes processos de secagem. As folhas foram submetidas a secagem pulverizando água e secando em local com ausência e presença de luz; pulverizando água e secando em estufa a 40ºC com ventilação forçada; pulverizando água em diferentes períodos do dia e secando ao sol; expondo por um período mais longo ao sereno e ao sol neste estudo observamos que as folhas ficavam mais vermelhas, também observou-se a hidrólise dos compostos glicosilados quando secos com pulverização de água (Figueira et al2009, Cabral, 2010. Em escala laboratorial, durante o projeto (07/52739-9) também foram testados os alto vácuo e concentração em evaporador rotativo de capacidade de 20 L, garantido maior rapidez no processo de extração (Figura 6).…”
