Technological parks are strategic innovation places for the stimulation of synergy among different agents. Current theoretical study identifies forms of interactions between technological parks and agents mentioned in interactive models of innovation. Foregrounded on triple, quadruple e quintuple helix models, current analysis investigates interactions of parks with companies, universities, government, civil society and the natural environment. One of the main contributions of current study is the integrating approach of interactions between parks and agents mentioned in innovation models. Overall interaction, provided in the results, favors the visualization of the parks´ management dynamics and the implementation of innovation models. Its practical contribution comprises subsidies for the construction of strategies, definition of stakeholders´ management and elaboration of good practices for technological parks.

Science parks are institutions that support the creation and development of high technology-based companies. They are designed to provide value-added services together with high-quality space and facilities and to promote interaction amongst universities, R&D institutions, companies, and markets. Although Spain is among the countries that have been investing heavily in these institutions, there is lack of feedback from the tenant companies' perspective with respect to the value added that they receive from science parks. The objective of this study is to evaluate the services that the Barcelona Science Park offers to its tenants by gathering information from the companies currently located in the park and those that have graduated. By comparing the results obtained from the two groups of companies, incubated and graduated, we examine whether the opinions differ about their appreciation of the services that they benefited from during their stay in the Park than those currently remaining.

Professor da Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos -UNISINOS abalestrin@unisinos.br (Brasil) RESUMOO presente artigo busca auxiliar a compreensão de como a complementaridade de recursos em ambientes de incubadoras e parques científico-tecnológicos (IPCTs), influenciam o desenvolvimento de projetos colaborativos de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento (P&D) entre as empresas residentes. Um dos pressupostos observados, tanto em políticas públicas quanto na literatura, é que esses ambientes são importantes mecanismos institucionais na promoção do desenvolvimento das regiões, uma vez que buscam fomentar um ecossistema caracterizado por condições favoráveis à inovação. Apesar da relevância desse tema, os estudos empíricos não são conclusivos a respeito da efetividade desses arranjos na promoção de inovação. Algumas pesquisas indicam que, em certos casos, empresas localizadas em IPCTs desenvolvem projetos conjuntos de P&D e inovam de forma mais intensa do que empresas fora desses ambientes, enquanto outras não ratificam essas conclusões. Na tentativa de contribuir com o entendimento sobre a efetividade das IPCTs e dos elementos presentes na promoção de um ambiente colaborativo para inovação, o presente ensaio promove uma construção teórica em um nível de análise mais específico do que estudos anteriores, resultando na apresentação de onze proposições de pesquisa. Essas proposições foram consolidadas em uma esquema conceitual que visa orientar pesquisas que buscam aprofundar tal problemática.
