The important role of higher education in the 21 st century is to participate in educating the public through the development of research results, therefore the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Raja Ali Haji Maritime University emphasizes the importance of implementing an engineering design process to be able to produce technology-based innovations needed by society. This research is a form of higher education contribution in improving student learning outcomes in elementary schools, through the provision of facilities in classrooms. Technology in schools is one of the driving forces for advancing education in schools and is expected to be able to change the mindset of students at Government Primary School (SD Negeri) 011 Tanjungpinang Timur to get to know technology more. It can be said that to realize the perfection of students, in addition to learning activities, supporting facilities are also needed at school according to technological developments. It is hoped that the facilities in technology-based schools will be able to encourage students to be more enthusiastic about learning, have a desire to know developments in the world of technology and change their mindset towards the use of technology in everyday life. From the observations, it was found that the main problem was the minimal use of technology in schools. With these technological problems, this study will design technology-based prototypes, namely smart classrooms based on Arduino Uno, with the aim of making it easier for teachers to turn on electrical equipment in class without direct contact with switches. The intelligent classroom system design uses the Arduino uno as a controller, the HC-06 bluetooth module as a liaison for the user's android with the Arduino Uno, and the boarduino application as a command from the android via bluetooth transmission media

Ruang kelas merupakan tempat terjadinya proses belajar mengajar bagi para siswa dan siswi. Didalam ruangan kelas dilengkapi dengan fasilitas-fasilitas pendukung yang memberikan rasa nyaman kepada siswa ketika belajar, selain fasilitas tersebut juga diperlukan fasilitas pendukung keselamatan. Dari hasil observasi dan wawancara bersama siswa sekolah dasar, tidak semua siswa menyadari pentingnya fasilitas tersebut, oleh sebab itu beberapa penelitian telah memberikan solusi yang mampu mencegah terjadinya kebakaran di ruangan kelas dan sosialisasi yang dilakukan ke sekolah-sekolah untuk menumbuhkan pola pikir anak sekolah terkait keselamatan. Selain upaya pencegahan juga diperlukan inovasi untuk membantu upaya penyelamatan apabila terdapat siswa yang terperangkap didalam kelas ketika terjadi kebakaran, adapun solusi yang diusulkan adalah Help Me, sebuah perangkat purwarupa yang mempergunakan sensor PIR yang mendeteksi gerakan dan mikrokontroller Arduino Uno sebagai pengolah informasi yang didapatkan dari sensor dan diteruskan ke buzzer. Dengan adanya bunyi buzzer maka para tim penyelamat dapat mengetahui keberadaan korban dan bisa mempermudah mengevakuasi korban kebakaran tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan design thinking dengan pola pendekatan Double Diamond yang diperkenalkan oleh British Design Council. Pendekatan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan inovasi teknologi yang merupakan solusi yang tepat terhadap permasalahan pengguna

This article presents the procedure of designing and testing the virtual prototype of the one-track vehicle using the Autodesk Inventor Professional software. A multi-stage process of preparing the virtual prototype and the results of selected simulation tests were presented. During the first stage of work, a digital geometric model of the vehicle was created. The second stage includes placing the model in the dynamic simulation environment and defining the testing conditions corresponding to the actual vehicle operation conditions. The next phase relates to the realization of virtual model tests in the Autodesk Inventor dynamic simulation environment. The model was subjected to tests using the multibody systems method (MBS) to determine the forces and displacements in selected structural nodes of the vehicle, in motion on uneven ground conditions. The obtained simulation results in the form of force values over time and displacements were analyzed and conclusions were formulated. The test results can be used to conduct a more detailed endurance analysis of individual construction elements, model optimization and impact on the driver’s body. It was stated that the used method allows for a more efficient process of creating a new product and more efficient evaluation of the impact of the conditions in which it will be used.
