The oil and gas industry is renowned for its inherent operational risks and complex safety challenges, necessitating robust Human Resource Management (HRM) strategies for effective safety measures and risk mitigation. This comprehensive review explores the evolving landscape of HRM practices within the oil and gas sector, focusing on their pivotal role in enhancing workplace safety and reducing operational risks. The review delves into the dynamic nature of the oil and gas industry, characterized by hazardous work environments, intricate technological processes, and a global workforce. Analyzing existing literature and case studies, the paper underscores the critical need for HRM strategies that prioritize safety culture, employee training, and proactive risk management. Key aspects include recruitment and selection processes tailored to identify candidates with a strong safety mindset, ongoing training programs to enhance competencies and awareness, and the establishment of a safety-centric organizational culture. Furthermore, the review examines the integration of technology and data analytics in HRM practices within the oil and gas sector. The utilization of advanced technologies for personnel training, real-time monitoring, and predictive analytics is discussed as a means to pre-emptively identify potential safety risks and proactively address them. Additionally, the paper highlights the importance of fostering communication and collaboration among employees, emphasizing the role of HRM in facilitating a transparent and open reporting culture. Monitoring the movement of boats in shallow waters requires a real-time monitoring system. However, for small-size wooden boats, they are still monitored manually, and data is unavailable in real time, which makes it difficult to effectively monitor them. The integration of IoT platforms with the boat monitoring system is a challenging task, especially in the transport system. This paper has the objective of developing an architectural model of a modified LoRaWAN-based boat monitoring system that is connected to a GPS-based mobile device and base station. The proposed architectural model is an integration of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and LoRaWAN networks, which are also tested in real time to solve the boat traffic monitoring issues. The field tests with parameters of signal transmission, location coordinates, and position of the boats are also presented. The analysis result shows the proposed model is suitable for waters with high noise levels, especially in shallow water and delta rivers. The signal noise can be reduced by extracting the real-time data. In addition, signal interference can be minimized. The performance of this system is also compared to the reference system in real conditions, which shows an adequate correlation result. This research work aims to develop the mathematical modeling for a class of dynamic supply chains. Demand fluctuation corresponds to product demand volatility, which increases or decreases over a given time frame. Industrial engineering practitioners should consider the function that applied mathematical modeling plays in providing approximations of solutions that may be used in simulations and technical implementations at the strategic, tactical, and operational levels of an organization. In order to achieve proper results, two mathematical models are presented in this paper: In addition to a finite-dimensional system of Ordinary Differential Equations (ODEs) for coupled dynamic pricing, production rate, and inventory level, which properly integrates Lyapunov stability analysis of the dynamical system and simulations, there is an infinite-dimensional Partial Differential Equation (PDE) production level modeling system available. Infinite and finite-dimensional systems incorporate a dynamic pricing approach in the mathematical modeling. The main research goal of this work is to explore the dynamic nature of supply chains applying PDE and ODE methods, with proper analytical analysis and simulations for both systems.
