Ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration cytology diagnosis of gall bladder lesions with application of WHO histological classification of tumors on cytoaspirate material

“…In our study, majority of the patients were females which correlated with the study of GB masses conducted by Iqbal et al 19 who had a male to female ratio of 1:3.5 and also with a study by Evarisalin et al 20 In the present study, we found that the age ranges from 34 to 85 years and mean age was 63.3 years which is similar to a study by Handa et al which observed their age range of 24 to 84 years and a mean age of 52 years 21 .
