\Vie wir friiher darlegten2), verlauft die Gesamt-reaktion C,H,, Jz + MeHlg = C,H,,J. Hlg + Me J nachstehendem Schema gema13 entweder iiber Reaktionsfolge I-tII oder III-tIV, nach unseren bisherigen Ermittlungen mit grol3er Wahrscheinlichkeit iiber III-tIV, also iiber die Jod-Misch-halogene :Um den exakten Beweis dafiir zu erbringen, haben wir Messungen d e r R e a k t i o n s -G e s c h w i n d i g k e i t e n vorgenommen. Da es bei diesen Umsetzungen niemals gelang, eines der beiden Reaktions-Zwischenprodukte (C,H,,J2 bzw. J . Hlg) nachzuweisen, kann gefolgert werden, da5 die NachfolgeReaktionen (I1 bzw. IV) mindestens ebenso rasch ablaufen wie die Reaktionen I bzw. 111. Aller Voraussicht nach sind sie rascher, so da5 I und I11 als geschwindigkeits-bestimmend zu betrachten sind. Gelingt es sonach, die Geschwindigkeit der Gesamt-reaktion und einer Teil-reaktion zu messen, so 1aBt sich ails dem Ergebnis der Anteil der beiden Reaktionen am Gesanitverlauf ermitteln. Die fur Geschwindigkeits-Messungen geeignetste Reaktion ist I, ungiinstig ist 111, wed die au5erst realttionsfahigen Jod-Misch-halogene entstehen3). Daher wahlten wir Reaktion I und die Gesamt-Reaktion.A n l a g e r u n g v o n J o d a n Cyclohexen.Viele Anlagerungs-Beispiele von Halogen an die C : C-Doppelbindung4) ergaben ubereinstimmend bimolekularen Verlauf ; die riicklaufige Reaktion ist monomolekular. Die Reaktions-Geschwindigkeiten erwiesen sich als ahhangig, auBer vom Losungsmittel, von der Gegenwart von Fremdstoffen, \vie Halogenwasserstoffe6), Halogene,) bzw. Halogen-Ionen') , und vornehmlich von hubgene durch Geech&ndig&i.!.s-Memu~en ( X X X I . ).
