Treating patients with deep mycoses of the maxillofacial region against a COVID-19 background

Abstract: Material and methods. The authors presented the experience of treating 15 patients with a cerebral form of mucormycosis of the maxillofacial region, which arose against the background of a new coronavirus infection associated with SARS-CoV-2. Results and conclusion. The importance of timely initiation of radical surgical treatment of this pathology for the prevention of the spread of foci of destruction in the bone tissue is shown.
