Toolbox for Antibiotics Discovery from Microorganisms

Abstract: Microorganisms produce a vast array of biologically active metabolites. Such compounds are applied by humans to positively influence their health and, therefore, natural products serve as drug leads for pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry.
