Alguns autores (27) tem confundido a resistência parcial (30,33,35), envolvendo componentes da resistência como PL(Período latente), PE(período de esporulação), PI (Período de incubação), entre outros, "sensu Parlevliet" (30), com tolerância, que é conceituada como planta suscetível. Nesse caso a planta com tolerância consegue ainda produzir razoavelmente, mas sem redução na área abaixo da curva de progresso da epidemia (AACPD).…”
