Theophyllıne: Adverse Effects, Poisoning and Treatment Approaches

Abstract: Metilksantin türevi bir bileşik olan teofilin, tüm dünyada ucuz ve etkili olması nedeniyle astım ve kronik obstrüktif akciğer hastalığı (KOAH) tedavisinde yıllardan bu yana yaygın kullanılan bir ilaçtır. Teofilinin kan düzeyleri ile bronkodilatör etkisi arasında yakın bir ilişki vardır. Maksimum bronkodilatör etki elde etmek için kan düzeylerinin 10-20 µg/ml arasında bulunması önemlidir.
