The tissue temperature during injection of drug solution into it as an integral indicator of rheology

Abstract: The dynamics of local temperature in the area of injection of drug solutions with regard to their physical and chemical properties is studied. It is shown that infrared thermography allows to visualize the processes of intra tissue rheology of drugs both when the temperature of injected drugs differs from the local temperature of tissues in the injection area and when their temperatures are equal. Methods of infrared diagnostics of tissue homogeneity, as well as methods for identifying, specifying the localiza… Show more

“…These data allow us to explain why some solutions for injection, which are considered high-quality today, can be very acidic and/or very salty (osmotically active). In turn, it becomes clear that it is the excessively high osmotic and / or acidic reactivity of some solutions for injection that can give them a non-specific pharmacological activity in the form of local irritant and cauterizing effects [5][6][7].…”

“…The practice of using DFT and 2D DFT, on the one hand, confirmed their efficiency, on the other hand, revealed a number of effects: aliasing effect, scalloping effect, picket fence effect, negatively affecting on the results of analysis and information processing [16][17][18][19][20][21].…”

“…Drug irritation can be assessed by local tissue inflammation at the injection sites, and inflammation can be assessed by local temperature dynamics. Modern thermal imaging cameras and their use in biology and medicine allow infrared thermography to detect local inflammation at injection sites in real time [ [52] , [53] , [54] , [55] , [56] ].…”
