A sociedade mundial dependerá cada vez mais de talentos no campo da Tecnologia da Informação por essa razão, crianças e jovens com Altas Habilidades/Superdotação (AH/SD) em Tecnologia da Informação (TI) estarão na vanguarda da ciência, tecnologia e inovação e atuarão em áreas ainda desconhecidas. A presente revisão de literatura teve como objetivo investigar o cenário da inserção da TI na educação para superdotados e o desenvolvimento de talentos presentes na literatura no período de 2010 a 2021. A revisão da literatura aconteceu em três bases de dados (Scopus, Portal de periódicos Capes e ScieLO) e foram buscados termos em Língua Inglesa (“talent”, “gifted”, “giftedness”, “technology”); em Língua Portuguesa (“altas habilidades”; “superdotação”; “superdotados”; “tecnologia”). Como critério de inclusão, os descritores deveriam estar no resumo, palavras-chave ou título de artigos nacionais ou internacionais. Foi selecionado um total de 54 artigos oriundos de 10 países. Os dados revelaram que os estudos encontrados investigaram as seguintes temáticas: a) aprendizagem mediada pelo uso de ferramentas tecnológicas; b) lógica de programação; (c) educação STEM/STEAM; (d) habilidades espaciais. É importante ir além do que normalmente se observa na literatura nacional, cujos estudos apresentam uma maior ênfase no “uso” de ferramentas como mediadores da aprendizagem, buscando incentivar também a educação tecnológica e o desenvolvimento de projetos.

It is essential that intelligence assessment be integrated with creativity, although no instruments in Brazil do so. This research investigated the item difficulty and validity and reliability of the Bateria de Avaliação Intelectual e Criativa Infantil (BAICI) to address this gap. The first sample consisted of 612 children (54% M) aged 7 to 12 years, and the second sample consisted of 377 students (56% M), some of whom (N = 164) were already identified as exhibiting high skills/giftedness. Item analysis indicated the need to adjust the BAICI items. The results of a MANCOVA indicated that the BAICI exhibits evidence of validity with external variables because the group of gifted children was significantly distinguished from the group of students attending regular schools on tests of vocabulary, speed, logical thinking, and creativity. The study concludes that the BAICI has psychometric qualities that can be used in the psychological assessment of children.

Intercultural dialogue is a challenging demand for contemporary education, especially concerning the development of talents and potentials. This exploratory qualitative study aimed to identify factors that promote and inhibit the development of Romani talent, in Brazil, according to Sintis and Calons. Two Sinti and five Calon Romani participated in the research, aged 18 to 58 years old, males and females, with educational levels between secondary school and doctorate. A socio-demographic questionnaire and semi-structured interview protocol were used to collect data. The results indicated that talent is recognized as a set of skills associated with musicality, handicrafts, and commerce being linked to traditional Romani crafts. Internal and external inhibitory factors related to prejudice were identified through school, family and community. These barriers affected the self-esteem, personality, ambitions, and perspectives of talented young people. To achieve equity, it is necessary to provide opportunities for exchanging knowledge, practices and perspectives, in order to take into account sociocultural background of minority groups. Future research could compare nomad and non-nomad lifestyles and their impact on talent development.
