ResumenUtilizando la colección principal de la base de datos Web of Science de Thomson and Reuters, se analizaron las publicaciones en cuyo título incluían el concepto de realidad aumentada, dado que en los últimos años esta tecnología ha tenido un explosivo crecimiento en distintas áreas y disciplinas. Este estudio analiza la relación de la realidad aumentada con la administración de negocios y la metodología empleada corresponde a un análisis bibliométrico, obteniendo mapas estratégicos para dos periodos estudiados. Se concluye que las investigaciones del primer periodo tienen un foco esencialmente técnico, mientras que, para el segundo periodo, están más enfocados a la relación entre dicha tecnología y las personas. Los temas de ambiente, aceptación tecnológica y computación ubicua, presentan una oportunidad para su desarrollo en el ámbito empresarial, el cual aún no ha sido explorado con fuerza. Palabras AbstractUsing the Web of Science Core Collection of Thomson and Reuters, publications whose title included the concept of augmented reality were analyzed, considering that in recent years this technology has had an explosive growth in different areas and disciplines. This study analyzes the relationship of augmented reality with business administration. The methodology used is a bibliometric analysis. Strategic maps were obtained for two periods studied. It is concluded that research done during the first period has an essentially technical focus, whereas, for the second period, they are more focused on the relation between this technology and people. Subjects such as environment, technological acceptance and ubiquitous computing present an opportunity for its development in the business field, which has not yet been strongly explored.

This paper presents a case study of public space transformation in Vilnius through community-wide participation employing Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) where the bottom-up community initiatives lead to the conversion of the Post-Soviet factories area into a multifunctional open space. Digital technologies enable collective methods of creativity, such as co-creation, in resolving complex urban problems, but also provide novel opportunities for designing inclusive, attractive and responsive public places. This case study employed the Composite Digital Co-Creation Index methodology which evaluates variety of aspects in the transformation of open spaces to co-creative systems: sociocultural contexts, multi-stakeholder perspective, diversity in needs, incentives for the participation of different groups and cooperation capabilities. The framework was built according to theoretical discussion related to co-creation, urban planning, collective intelligence theories with insights on ICT applications in generating public value. The empirical data were gathered through semi-structured interviews, survey, digital monitoring, and other secondary materials such as reports, etc.The framework provides a useful approach to explore initiatives of digital co-creation as it allows to identify potential areas of improvement.

Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and mobile devices are deeply influencing all facets of life, directly affecting the way people experience space and time. ICTs are also tools for supporting urban development, and they have also been adopted as equipment for furnishing public spaces. Hence, ICTs have created a new paradigm of hybrid space that can be defined as Senseable Spaces. Even if there are relevant cases where the adoption of ICT has made the use of public open spaces more "smart", the interrelation and the recognition of added value need to be further developed. This is one of the motivations for the research presented in this paper. The main goal of the work reported here is the deployment of a system composed of three different connected elements (a real-world infrastructure, a data gathering system, and a data processing and analysis platform) for analysis of human behavior in the open space of Cardeto Park, in Ancona, Italy. For this purpose, and because of the complexity of this task, several actions have been carried out: the deployment of a complete real-world infrastructure in Cardeto Park, the implementation of an ad-hoc smartphone application for the gathering of participants' data, and the development of a data pre-processing and analysis system for dealing with all the gathered data. A detailed description of these three aspects and the way in which they are connected to create a unique system is the main focus of this paper. recognition of an added value need to be further developed. Hence, a space that can sense users' presence and provide according information is still broadly missing.In line with this, the adoption of ICTs provides users with new instruments to enhance their experience of visiting and discovering a place; at the same time, they represent a valuable source of information that could be used for the planning process. This research addresses the topic of exploring the relationship between space, users, and technologies, investigating how pervasive digital tools can augment our environments and can leverage new interactivity. Modern technological applications can dynamically deliver different kinds of data to the users, but they also allow for the extraction of data from them. Thus, we have coined the term Senseable Space to define these kinds of spaces capable of providing users with contextual services, to measure and analyze their dynamics, and to react accordingly, in a seamless exchange of information.
