The role of erythropoietin in the pathogenesis and treatment of iron deficiency anemia during pregnancy and in the postpartum period

Abstract: Iron deficiency anemia (IDA) is a very common pathological condition during pregnancy and the postpartum period. In the structure of hematological diseases in pregnant women, anemias account for about 90% and in most cases are iron deficient [3, 17, 19].
