<span lang="EN-US">Non-military defense is a defense to deal with non-military threats that can endanger or have implications for national defense. Non-military threats have ideological, political, economic, socio-cultural, technological, public safety, and legislation dimensions. In the general policy of national defense for the years 2020-2024, it is stated that in the policy of implementing non-military defense, it is directed to deal with the dimensions and types of threats by determining the ministry/institution as the main element. Bank Indonesia realizes that the payment system needs to adapt to the presence of digital technology. To that end, BI has issued a blueprint for the Indonesia Payment System (SPI) 2025, one of whose vision is to support the digitization of banking as the main institution in the digital-financial economy, both through open-banking and the use of digital technology and data in the financial business. The research objective is to provide government input on the role of Bank Indonesia in the Electronification of the Digital Economy as a Form of Non-Military Defense. Research with qualitative methods is aimed at understanding social phenomena from the perspective of participants. The results achieved are in accordance with the Role theory that Bank Indonesia encourages banking digitalization, supports the integration of the national digital economy, ensures interlink fintech and banking, to ensure consumer protection and national interests are maintained.</span>

Manajemen pertahanan selalu dikaitkan mengenai keberhasilan dan atau kegagalan suatu negara dalam rangka mengelola sumber daya nasional yang dimiliki dengan tujuan dijadikan sebagai kekuatan nasional. Tujuan penelitian ini memberikan deskripsi tentang manajemen pertahanan dari sisi teori dan praktik dalam perkembangan dan penerapan di Indonesia. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif, sedangkan jenis penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu mendeskripsikan dan menginterpretasi apa yang ada, itu dapat mengenai kondisi/hubungan yang ada. Pendapat yang sedang tumbuh, proses yang sedang berlangsung, akibat/efek yang terjadi atau kecenderungan yang tengah berkembang. Permasalahan transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam penyelenggaraan fungsi institusi pertahanan dimulai dari dasar untuk menuju pada pengawasan sipil (civil oversight) dari proses pengambilan keputusan dan kinerja pertahanan. Manajemen pertahanan dianggap sebagai suprasistem dari tiga subsistem manajemen pertahanan yang terdiri dari: sistem manajemen sumber daya, sistem manajemen pembinaan/kekuatan/kemampuan pertahanan negara, dan sistem manajemen penggunaan kekuatan/kemampuan pertahanan keamanan negara.

Defense is important for a country, especially Indonesia, which is the largest archipelagic country in the world, with a total of 17,500 islands with a population of 274 million. Indonesia also has a variety of natural resources and is located in a strategic location because it is a crossroads for international trade. This then makes Indonesia vulnerable to threats both from within and outside the country that can threaten the sovereignty, territorial integrity and safety of the Indonesian nation. In maintaining its sovereignty and territorial integrity, Indonesia is preparing the TNI, which is armed with Alutsista. The Defense Industry is an industry that produces Alutsista. The Defense Industry is not only built to meet the needs of the TNI's defense equipment, but is expected to have an influence on the national economy in general and the region in particular. This research uses descriptive research. The research proves that PT Pindad (Persero) Turen has a role in the national economy in general and the Province of East Java in particular. This can be proven from the amount of the company's net profit and taxes deposited by PT Pindad (Persero) every time there is a transaction or routine every month to the state treasury. The contribution to East Java Province can also be seen from the number of workers absorbed by the company and the multiplier effects it causes, such as the absorption of labor through the company's business partners. The welfare of the population of East Java Province also increases every year and almost reaches the national average. The size of the UMK to per capita expenditure is also relatively able to meet the food and non-food needs of the population of East Java Province. PT Pindad (Persero) is currently also working on many projects both from within and outside the country and has strategic steps to develop its business, so it is not impossible that PT Pindad (Persero) can contribute more to the regional and national economy. field.
