In agricultural business, some specific factors, such as high natural and climatic risks, seasonality of production, reliance on biological assets, slow cycle of capital turnover, timeliness and completeness of budgetary assistance, have a significant impact on financial results. The role of budgetary funds in modern conditions is clearly manifested at the stage of formation and presentation of operating profit in the reports of an agricultural enterprise. The analysis of profit and assessment of its basis of efficiency of business processes of the enterprise are the most important direction of financial analysis of market entities' activity. Information about the amount of operating profit is an economic criterion for the development of an agricultural enterprise and can be a signal reference point for potential investors in the agricultural market when considering business cooperation and partnership.

The long-term pressure of the COVID-19 pandemic and hostilities in Ukraine have caused catastrophic consequences in all sectors of life, which negatively affect the overall level of economic security of the state. In these circumstances, the task to adjust the mechanisms for assessing the state of economic security, taking into account existing non-standard challenges, is urgent. The object of this study is the processes of transformation of mechanisms for monitoring the state of economic security of the state under conditions of global instability. The conceptual foundations for monitoring the state of economic security of the state have been deepened and, taking into account the results of the expert assessment, the directions of its modification have been proposed for practical application. The need to revise the weighting values of indicators of the state of economic security, taking into account the principle of "critical" link, has been determined. The need to update the list of indicators of the state of economic security, taking into account structural changes in the state economy, was emphasized. It is recommended to use the multiplicative form of the integral indicator of the state of economic security instead of the additive one, as well as the method of the reference coefficient instead of the normalization method relative to the scope of variation. The state of economic security in the context of its structural parts is comprehensively assessed. The existing trends of deterioration of the state of demographic, investment-innovative, macroeconomic subsystems, which should be considered as sources of "weak link", have been registered. The decrease in the level of economic security from 52 % in 2007 to 47 % in 2021 has been proved. The practical use of the scientific results reported here could contribute to improving the effectiveness of management decisions aimed at strengthening the system of economic security of the state under modern conditions of global instability.

The efficient functioning of agriculture plays an important role in ensuring food security in many countries of the world. Depending on how insurance protection of agricultural producers is carried out, the competitiveness of their financial stability and competitiveness largely depends. Agricultural insurance is one of the most effective ways to combat agricultural risks and at the same time is one of the most difficult for insurance companies. Insurance events related to natural and climatic phenomena can cause significant losses to insurance companies. The use of reinsurance makes it possible to redistribute insurance liability between a large number of insurance companies, which in turn contributes to increasing their financial stability. The active introduction of digital technologies in agriculture allows not only to increase the efficiency of agricultural production, but also helps to reduce the risk of agricultural business. In turn, reducing the riskiness of agricultural business as a result of market competition among insurance companies will reduce the cost of the insurance policy. The state should pay more attention to supporting the use of digital technologies in agricultural production. Traditional subsidizing does not fully encourage agricultural producers to introduce digital technologies at their enterprises. Insurance plays a significant role in stabilizing agricultural production. To a certain extent , it creates conditions for protecting farmers from the onset of adverse weather events . The use of digital technologies in agricultural business contributes to increasing the efficiency of agricultural production and creates prerequisites for reducing the costs of agricultural enterprises for insurance protection.
