Background: Work stress is an emotional, physical and physiological reaction to the damaging or dangerous aspects of work that occur when the demands of the job do not match the worker’s abilities. Women have little opportunity to develop in a male-dominated workplace. Female lecturers have a dual role: being responsible as a wife and mother. Stress can be caused by organizational factors including task demands, role demands, interpersonal relationships, career development, work structure, and work climate. Objectives: The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between age, education, mental workload, semester credit unit, and work hours with the Work stress of female lecturers at Universitas Airlangga. Methods: This research was an observational study with a cross sectional design. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors associated with work stress on female lecturers at Airlangga University. This research was conducted in September 2019 - February 2020 using a simple random sampling technique with 97 respondents. Results: The results of this research showed that individual characteristics, including age and education did not correlate with female lecturers’ work stress. Mental workload (p=0.000), semester credit unit (p=0.000), and work hours (p=0.000) significantly correlate with the work stress of female lecturers at Universitas Airlangga. Conclusions: The conclusion of this study is that mental workload, semester credits and working hours are the factors that cause work stress among female lecturers at Airlangga University. There is no relationship between education and age with work stress among female lecturers at Universitas Airlangga. Mental workload causes work stress for the respondents. The authors recommend that respondents organize their schedules and determine which schedules should be prioritized first. The respondents are female lecturers with work and domestic roles. It is important to create good social support.

Bahaya kerja yang terdapat di sektor minyak dan gas terdiri dari bahaya biologi, bahaya fisika, bahaya somatik, bahaya kimia, dan bahaya psikososial yang salah satunya berupa stres kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan faktor karakteristik individu pekerja yang bekerja pada Unit Residue Catalytic Cracking (RCC) terutama di area kebisingan dengan kejadian stres kerja. Metodologi penelitian secara cross sectional serta pengambilan data dengan menggunakan instrument kuesioner pengukuran stres kerja dari NIOSH Generic Job Stres Questionnaire yang isinya terdiri atas job content, job control and demands, social supports, teamworks, work schedules, job insecurity, uncertainty. Besar sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 60 pekerja dengan menggunakan metode total sampling. Kriteria inklusi yang digunakan adalah seluruh pekerja di Unit RCC yang bersedia menjadi sampel penelitian. Kemudian data dianalisa secara univariat, bivariat (Chi-square), dan multivariat dengan regresi logistik berganda.Model akhir dari analisa multivariat menunjukkan hasil bahwa terdapat dua variabel faktor risiko yang berhubungan dengan kejadian stres kerja yaitu variabel status pernikahan (OR= 8.801; p-value = 0.008) serta kondisi kesehatan (OR = 24.368; p-value = 0.001) serta jumlah anak pekerja dengan (OR = 31.254 dan p-value = 0.001).Variabel yang dominan yang berkontribusi adalah variabel jumlah anak, variabel faktor risiko yang berhubungan adalah status pernikahan dan kondisi (keluhan) kesehatan. Oleh karena itu variabel tersebut dapat dijadikan dasar dalam melakukan intervensi terutama program penurunan tingkat stres pekerja di tempat kerja.

Orphanages or Children’s Orphanages are also (LKSA) Institutions for Child Welfare which are charitable, nonprofit organizations that provide shelter, instruction, and care for abandoned, orphaned, and orphans. The role of a Child Welfare Institution is not only as a childcare institution in institution but also as a gatekeeper. In the Social Welfare Institutions in the Malang Regency, this study seeks to ascertain and examine the relationship between employee engagement and burnout, with work stress serving as a mediating variable. 22 Social Welfare Institutions make up the study’s sample. In this study, researchers used a sample of 66 carers. The Structural Equation Model (SEM) using the Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis tool was employed in this study’s analysis. The gathering of information technique was conducted by a questionnaire. The study’s findings show that employee involvement and quality assurance have negative and substantial effects on burnout, while quality assurance has a negative and significant impact on job stress, and employee engagement negatively and significantly impacts how stressful a job is. negatively and not significant impact, job stress has an important and favorable impact, job stress can moderate the impact of employee involvement on burnout but cannot mediate the impact of quality assurance on burnout.
