“…Expatriate's family atmosphere is found to influence the process of adapting to new work cultures (Tung, 1987). Anthropological studies suggest that genealogical history can result in cultural differences in the values of second and third generation expatriates compared to the indigenous co-workers (Kelley and Reeser, 1973;review by De La Torre and Toyne, 1978, p. 468).
