The Performance of a Cross-flow Turbine as a Function of Flowrates and Guide Vane Angles

Abstract: This study looked at the effects of flow rates and guide vane angles on the performance of a cross flow turbine, which can be used to generate energy and hydraulic power with low head and low flow rates of water. A fluid dynamic analysis was performed on the cross-flow turbine with the aid of finite element techniques.
