This study aims to identify the metacognitive awareness levels of the students studying in the departments of sports management, antreneurship and physical education. The population of this descriptive study consists of 854 students in the Faculty of Sports Science of Fırat University. No sampling was done, and the whole population was included inthe study. 684 students answered the questionnaires (participation rate: 80.1 %). The data of the study were collected with the Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) and a personal information sheet. As a result of the study, the mean scores of the total MAI of the students of the Physical Education Department (182.6±27.0), and their mean scores of knowedge of cognition (59.3±9.8) and regulation of cognition (123.3±18.0) dimensions were found to be lower than those students’ of other departments; and this difference is significant (p<0.05). The total MAI mean scores (177.7±30.1) of those graduates of a Sports High School, and their mean scores of knowedge of cognition (58.1±10.1) and regulation of cognition (119.5±20.9) were found to be significantly lower than those of the graduates of other high schools (p<0.05). Abstract: The focus of this research is the critical thinking dimension which is summarized from the opinions of seventeen experts. The dimensions of the critical thinking dimension in reasoning are interpretive, intensive, analytical, evaluative, explanatory and self-regulation. This research is a literature study of metasynthesis method. Data in the form of text quotes to seventeen experts. The results of this study are the findings of critical thinking dimensions that vary there are levels of critical thinking in two dimensions, three dimensions, four dimensions and multidimensional. Specifically, the critical thinking dimension can only be optimal if it is applied to classes that have a diversity of ideologies that have individual characteristics.Abstrak: Fokus penelitian ini adalah dimensi berpikir kritis yang disarikan dari pendapat tujuh belas ahli. Deskriptor dimensi berpikir kritis dalam penalaran adalah interpretatif, inferensif, analisatif, evaluatif, eksplanatif, dan regulasi diri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kajian pustaka metode metasintesis. Data berupa kutipan teks pada tujuh belas ahli. Hasil penelitian ini temuan dimensi berpikir kritis yang bervariasi ada tingkatan berpikir kritis dua dimensi, tiga dimensi, empat dimensi dan multidimensi. Hasil penelitian secara khusus, dimensi berpikir kritis hanya bisa optimal jika diterapkan pada kelas yang memiliki keragaman ideologi yang memiliki sifat individual.

This study is based on the lack of frequency of application of learning media and no simple machines props. Implementation of props can help teachers in delivering material. This research and development aim to describe the feasibility of simple aircraft props made from environmental materials. The specific objectives of this study are to describe (1) the validity of props, (2) practicality of props, (3) the effectiveness of props. This research and development use ADDIE design. The resulting product is a simple machines material props using environmental materials. The props were tested in 31 students of class VIII of Canaan Christian Junior High School. The instruments used are validation sheet, response questionnaire and learning result test. Data were analyzed descriptively from quantitative data obtained. The results showed that visual aids (1) are very valid, (2) practical, and (3) effective. The result of research and development of simple machines props on science learning with sub material lever, pulley and inclined for junior high school students can be concluded that simple machines props made from environmentally friendly, suitable for students of class VIII Junior High School.
