This study aims to analyze the implementation of pre-lesson reading activities, analyze the impact of pre-lesson reading activities on creative thinking skills, and analyze the constraints of pre-lesson reading activities on creative thinking skills. This research was conducted at State Elementary School 1 Karangduwur, Kebumen, Indonesia. Meanwhile, the subjects of this study were fifth-grade students. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. The researcher chose the school because the school became a reference school for Kebumen Regency which had implemented the school literacy movement. The researchers employed observation, interview, test, and documentation techniques to collect data. Then, data analysis was carried out by applying the interactive analysis steps from Miles and Huberman. The steps taken include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results revealed that pre-lesson reading activities were implemented by maximizing the roles of principals, teachers, and students through monitoring, providing, mentoring, and evaluating programs. The impact of reading activities before class is to increase students' creative thinking skills with the highest order being originality, followed by fluency, elaboration, and finally flexibility. The obstacles encountered were the limited number of readings, limited time, lack of educational content, lack of student experience and low student understanding. These findings can be utilized as references and relevant studies for future researchers to conduct similar studies. Future researchers can analyze the implementation, impacts, and constraints in the classroom wall magazine, reading corner, or literacy tree program in elementary schools.

This research was motivated by the low interest in reading and students' reading comprehension abilities. The School Literacy Movement was implemented as an effort to improve students' abilities in literacy. The School Literacy Program has the potential to increase students' reading interest and reading comprehension. The school literacy movement program often organizes various interesting activities such as writer's meetings, reading competitions, and book clubs. These activities can stimulate students' interest in reading and help them feel more connected to the world of literacy. This program focuses on teaching literacy skills, including reading comprehension. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of the School Literacy Movement, the impact on reading interest, and the impact on fourth grade students' reading comprehension abilities. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive case study approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results of this research show that students have implemented the School Literacy Movement. Students' interest in reading has increased and their enthusiasm has increased. Students' reading comprehension abilities have also increased, it is known from tests on reading story texts and answering questions that students are able to understand the contents of the text, find the message of the story, and are able to summarize the story. In terms of reading comprehension, this program also integrates strategies and approaches supported by research to improve students' reading comprehension. Thus, the School Literacy Program can provide a strong foundation for the development of reading skills and better reading comprehension in students.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh gerakan literasi sekolah terhadap minat baca siswa kelas V SDN Cilangkap 03 Pagi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif asosiatif. Purposive sampling digunakan untuk memilih 32 siswa kelas V SDN Cilangkap 03 Pagi sebagai sampel, dan kuesioner digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data tentang Gerakan literasi sekolah dan minat baca untuk populasi penelitian ini 64 siswa. Analisis deskriptif dengan regresi sederhana merupakan pendekatan analisis data yang digunakan. Uji prasyarat termasuk uji normalitas dan uji linearitas dilakukan sebelum analisis regresi sederhana. Pada uji korelasi sederhana nilai signifikansi kurang dari 0,05 (0,011 < 0,05), dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak yaitu gerakan literasi sekolah berkorelasi positif dengan minat baca. Sedangkan pada uji regresi sederhana nilai t : diketahui nilai thitung sebesar 2,725 > ttabel 2,042. Dari hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa adanya pengaruh gerakan literasi sekolah terhadap minat baca siswa kelas V SDN Cilangkap 03 Pagi. Kesimpulan kontribusi penelitian ini adalah sebagai solusi untuk perubahan minat baca siswa sekolah dasar menjadi lebih baik lagi.
