Methods of effective low-level laser therapy in the treatment of patients with bronchial asthma

The number of normal discocytes decreases; the abnormal shapes of erythrocytes with high cholesterol content on the membrane predominate; their deformability decreases, and their aggregation ability increases [ 15 , 16 ]. The percentage of abnormal shapes of erythrocytes (echinocytes, teardrop-shaped and target cells, ovalocytes and spherocytes) grows against the background of a decrease in the number of discocytes and an increase in the total number of immature reticulocytes, resulting in the impaired oxygen transport function of the blood and increased hypoxia [ 17 ].…”
