One of the most widely employed methods of laser therapy is laser irradiation of blood (LIB). There are two modifications of this technique, one being intravenous low-intensity laser irradiation of blood (ILIB), the other non-invasive blood irradiation(NLIB). The two methods have been developing independently since either has its advantages and disadvantages. The present article was designed to review the main currently available techniques for laser irradiation of blood which are presented in the form of tables (charts). Replacing the UV irradiation of blood with UV lamps by laser ultraviolet irradiation of blood (LUVIB®) has made it possible to significantly simplify the technique and enhanced its efficiency. The most effective options for ILIB are the combined techniques: ILIB-635 + LUVIB® and ILIB-525 + LUVIB. The most effective technique for ELIB is believed to be the use of low-intensity pulsed laser light with a wavelength of 635 nm and output power up to 40 W.
Bronchial asthma is an autoimmune disease, one of the most common and practically non-treatable by standard methods. At present, the used drugs only maintain a state of temporary remission, simultaneously having a negative effect on various organs and structures and causing side effects. At the same time, the experts have ignored more than 50 years of successful experience of low-level laser therapy, the results of hundreds of studies proving the effectiveness of the method in treating patients with all forms of bronchial asthma. It is proved that therapeutic and periodic (2–4 per year) courses of low-level laser therapy can significantly decrease the frequency and severity of attacks, reduce or cancel the reception of medicines, as well as negative consequences. In this brief review, only some part of studies is given as an example; pediatrics issues are almost not discussed. However, the review clearly demonstrates that various methods of laser illumination (specific techniques are given) make it possible to influence almost all the known pathogenesis of the disease, and low-level laser therapy is a truly effective method of treatment. We note that there are very few publications published on the topic outside of Russia. Russian scientists, as always, are ahead of world science and low-level laser therapy practice.
The decision model of identification of significant diagnostic characters (order parameters) is presented within using of neural network decision model for binary classification (division of a group of subjects being in two different ecological and psychic conditions). Similar problems are the basis of cognitive and heuristic activity of a human who has to identify order parameters in any process and analysis of any events. We have shown that the possibility of order parameters identification (significant хi) is low in a small number of iterations (p<100) with initial weight characters xio based on uniform distribution (xio from an interval (0,1)). If p increases (p>100, p>1000), accuracy of order parameters identification increases too. Within the frameworks of the model there is a hypothesis on the connection of reverberation in hippocampus with efficiency of a heuristic brain activity.
The study discusses the effect on the functional state of the whole blood cells of low-intensity microwave radiation. On the model of intercellular interactions in the conditions of spontaneous cell activity and by stimulating cells complex mitogen, the influence of microwave radiation 1000 MHz on production by whole blood cells interleukins: IL-1β, 2, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 17A, TNF-alpha, IFN-g, RAIL-1, and soluble forms of toll-like receptor 1, 2, 4, 6 types was studied. The research results show that a single 45 minutes of exposure of microwave radiation of 0.05 PPM microwatt/cm2 has the ability to enhance mitogen-stimulated production of RAIL-1 by 38,7% (p=0.03), to reduce the induced production of IL-1β by 26,3% (p=0,037), IL-8 by 56,2% (p=0.022) and to increase oppressed segment complex mitogen production of IL-10 by 27,8% (p=0,041). The microwave radiation increased spontaneous and mitogen-stimulated expression of TLR, especially TLR1 during the initial low level.
Accoding to new third paradigm (which is based on the calculations on calculation of quasiattractor parameters of human body state vector) we are presented formal models and methods of calculation of quasiattractor moving in the phase spaces of state. It is shown that a single therapeutic procedure may not demonstrate significant changes of the parameters of the state vector x(t) in phase m-dimensional space with the positions of the stochastic approach. However, new methods of chaos theory-self-organization (TCS) will always show such changes, if to count or change the volume VX of quasiattractor, or the coordinates of its center HS and speed υ movement of this center. Examples of this approach in medicine and human ecology, when stochastic is not able to detect differences between samples, and new methods are demonstrated. In this case, it is advisable to use the computer in the mode of multiple iterations or calculate parameters of quasiattractors and values approach their centers in the phase spaces of States. It is essential that such methods should be used in the evaluation
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
