The Impact of Transdisciplinarity on Sight Translation Training in Scientific and Technical Domains

Abstract: The paper aims to explore the impact of interdisciplinarity on sight translation training in scientific and technical domains. The authors concentrate on the distinctive features of transdisciplinarity and explain the concept of "weak" (used as a practical means) and "strong" transdisciplinarity (complex impact through several levels of reality). 80 future translators/interpreters took part in the research.
