The Impact Of Gender And Dress On Choice Of CPAs

Abstract: The study investigated the impact of client gender, CPA gender, and CPA dress on the likelihood of hiring a CPA for professional services. Subjects perceptions of CPAs in regard to nine variables, such as expertise, credibility, and professionalism, were collected and analyzed. The results indicate that perceptions of friendliness were significantly affected by both client and CPA gender, while professionalism was significantly affected by the dress.
